My friend just fired up the game for the first time since he got in back in 2016. He was quite impressed. We had a few minor lag issues, but it smoothed out and we had a few hours exploring Pyro. 4.0 has been fun and profitable so far, all the bugs, black screens, excessive loading times aside. I've taken advantage of everyone doing the Pyro thing by doing some nice relaxing solo Vulture panel salvaging in Stanton without having any hostile company to worry about.

Is it better to do salvage or bounty missions. I just started myself in general and I picked the intrepid as my ship and I'm doing 50k bounty pretty easily but not sure which is more profitable

@@EvilOneeeDo bounty, buy salvage ship and switch upon both. I returned to the game but doing illegl monitoring missions was also profitable its basicly the same. What I wanted to try out is Ghost hollow but its high risk high reward you can easily do with bounties without the risks involved. I rent andromeda and solo bounties for safest and quickest money grinding.

4.0 has been a blast. I have mostly tried to stick to the non buggy side of things and I spend a lot of time back and forth to pyro rescuing org mates. I love the medi rescue play style it’s always really fun! I hope 4.0 treats everyone well and see you in the verse!

Pleasantly surprised that they are fixing things after the release, hope they will stay on it to resolve the biggest issues. Especially the black screen (however I think thats because they patch) and missions too, so far I think its one of the best releases to date, ever. merry xmas everyone! o7

Just hoping some fixes come to improve FPS, I'm getting about half my typical frame rate, and haven't found any settings that improve it, not even upscaling. Hope you and everyone has a good Christmas or whatever Holiday they might celebrate, stay safe and have fun.

FYI If you have the bug that doesn't save your ship loadout after application in the mobiglass resync you PC's time. That fixed it for me.

It’s a live service game and they received over $100m in pledges again this year, they don’t get credit for doing their job and dropping fixes so it’s a less miserable, buggy experience for backers over the Christmas period.

I might regret saying this but for me 4.0 has been impressive. I have spent all my time exploring Pyro and completed some Merc missions. They were superb. Only problem I have had in game was I lost some expensive loot, falling through a hanger. Furious as I was, most of the cock ups have been my fault. Fingers crossed.

Been waiting anxiously on pryo for several years/patches now. Came onto the game during ver 2.4, been worth the wait so far I've got to say. Pyro has been the best holiday gift thus far!

I’ve really enjoyed 4.0 since release. The only complaint I have and I hope they can fix is getting into hangers. I primarily use a reclaimer and I can never get in on time after queuing for minutes.

Kind of strange that the "Spawn in hangar" caused issues with the servers. Unless its because everyone logging in at one time was causing more hangar instances needed than spaces available at the starport...
