As someone who is getting back into cigars after about a decade, it's basically impossible to say anything negative about Perdomo. Even when I was only around 20 and having my first taste of cigars, they instantly leapt out at me as being absolutely fantastic for the price. And to this day, the consistency and quality makes them my go-to. I'm always happy to try something new, but I plan on always keeping my new humidor stocked up with a decent amount of Perdomo's because I know I'll love 'em. (10th Anniversary Maduro is my favorite. So smooth.)

What makes me say “yes! I need more of this.” Believe it or not, flavor is the least important criteria. Give me a cigar that is consistently well-constructed, has a smooth, oily wrapper. Draws great, burns even. Now, if that same cigar has a good, balanced flavor without too much of one note, and has some richness, sweetness, and creaminess of smoke? That’s a keeper. A hall of famer. For me, that’s the Melanio Maduro, Aging Room Quatro Nic, Aroma Mi Amor, Romeo Reserva Real, Upmann Fernandez, most of the Perdomos, any Padron.

For me, Olivia Serie G is always on point. Regardless of the size, that “true” Cameroon wrapper makes all the difference. The draw and the burn are both good, which adds to the experience. Were it not for the size, the Nub Cameroon would be an exact match in my book.

I recently got into cigars and the perdomo 20th anniversary is amazing.

La Aroma De Cuba, La Pasión for me. I didn’t ever understand the hype of cigars until I had this specific cigar. It completely changed the game for me. If you haven’t had one try it, the one with the green band.

I enjoy that also. It is medium strength and enjoyable. The mi amors are also really good.

Great video! I've never had a Dunbarton, or a Viking cigar. Looking forward to trying them both, and thank you for the recommendation! As far as favorites go...for me, the Avo Classic #3 has been my favorite cigar for a long time, BUT...I gotta say, over the past couple years I find myself shying away from the Avo because of draw inconsistencies! Seems like every third or fourth cigar I buy draws like I'm tying to smoke a freaking broomstick! (and this is me getting them from a couple of different local shops right out of their humidors.) I get that it's a natural product, and sometimes it happens...but this has happened to me WAY too many times with them. One of the reason I've become such a fan of Perdomo is their draw testing. Never had a "broomstick" experience with a Perdomo! 😁 I'm a new subscriber, and looking forward to watching and learning more! Thanks man! - J.R.
