I have just started immersion for japanese and your gaming videos have been so wonderful! It really helps that you point to things when naming them and narrate what actions you are taking. This is the perfect type of video for beginner immersion. Thank you so much and please make more :D

27:11 - ゴミ袋だと思います。/ That looks like a roll of trash bags to me. (Sorry that the Japanese doesn't match the English very well. I'm still learning!) edit: 29:44 - 缶切るだかな? / Maybe a can opener? Also: These kinds of videos are really helpful! Thank you!

This is so amazing! Being able to understand almost entirely whole videos is great. Even baby cartoons is too hard for me currently. I get to practice listening, refresh words I hadn’t seen in a long time, and even learn new ones. I hope this continues for a long time.

Can you add translation (subtitles) in many other languages? This will help us more, I will be very grateful . Please like to see my comment 🙂💔🌼
@Mangaka2K155 ай бұрын
Hi sweetness, did you try clicking on Auto translate and then seeing which option they give you? For me, it gave me English (I speak English and my phone is in English) so maybe it will show your language when you click Auto translate. I hope that helps. 😊

Subtitles will not help you more, they will impede you. Comprehensible input aims to achieve natural language acquisition in the listener. Acquisition is different to studying. Studying is all well and good for passing exams, but it will not give you practical aptitude. When you acquire language rather than study it, you understand it's context and meaning separate from any other language, which is necessary for proficiency. If you struggle with a word or phrase, look it up in a dictionary. Using a dictionary only for select things is better than seeing it compared to your native language all the time.
