Hi Alan, I had “something tells me” on a 45. Cilla had a great voice, and she was an excellent presenter on Blind Date and Surprise Surprise. My friend worked as an assistant for LWT and she said that Cilla could be a bit of a tyrant as she was such a perfectionist about her work. She had such an easy manner on screen though and could relate to anybody, she laughed easily. My mum would never miss Surprise Surprise, and always ended up in tears when long lost family members were reunited. Cilla died too soon, I don’t think she’d ever have retired as she loved her work so much. Thanks for such a great video.

Cilla is a true legend. She hosted some iconic ITV shows over the years and she will be sadly missed. RIP Cilla. And a Happy Birthday to you. 🍰🍰🍰
