I agree with you and I laughed but I also understand that can be hard for some if they have been made fun off for the exact same stereotypes during their whole life. For you or the host, it is funny because it is not as your expense and you didn’t already hear it a million times. For some people it might have a negative overtone, even if it isn’t necessarily meant as an insult. Even if you think there is no limits in comedy you don’t go around and constantly make jokes around your grandma about how old she is; one must be aware of other peoples reaction, good or bad.

@@laimejannister5627I think it’s because the British ruled India from 1858-1947 which a lot of people from that territory grew up with a hatred for the British. However, Murphy and Ferguson aren’t British. Murphy is Irish and Ferguson is Scottish so it doesn’t make sense to be mad over a joke

Birmingham is in Alabama and there is no way that anyone from Alabama sounds remotely Pakistani, Indian or South African.
