I agree with you and I laughed but I also understand that can be hard for some if they have been made fun off for the exact same stereotypes during their whole life. For you or the host, it is funny because it is not as your expense and you didn’t already hear it a million times. For some people it might have a negative overtone, even if it isn’t necessarily meant as an insult.
