tl;dr. Agree but there are some exceptions. Yes and no. Because in reality there is differences in the age of consent around the world, so if we are talking about 15-16 years characters that's barely acceptable, in some cases it isn't acceptable for me in a novel. But when someone goes 'till the age of consent that generaly means that the age of the character are lower that 15-16 years and in his own country that be illegal. In my country the age of consent is 14, but that's basically a loophole, in my point of view, for ped*s do what they want inside the law.

It's really strange that sexual perversion is sprinled into almost every single anime. Take my fav anime Made in Abyss. Wonderful anime, but randomly they add nude children and have a strange fascination with genitalia (again of children) Yes, the story is about children, that does not mean they need to grope each other. Probably the only time I didn't find it to take away from the story was the first time, when they show a snap shot of the MC strung up naked. The only reason I "approve" of it there is it was paying off an earlier line where she stated that exact thing would happen if she was caught. Reminds me of a DnD experience I had. I'm a 30 year old female, guy comes in with his hand drawn custom character who looked like a 12 year old girl wearing a stripper outfit but-it's-ok-because-she's-400. He spent the entire session making lewd jokes and situations involving his character and tried bringing everyone else into it. Definitely one of the most uncomfortable social experiences of my life. EDIT: I'm very pleased to note this is the most upvoted thing I have ever posted. Between that and the many replies, you have restored my faith in humanity a little bit. Thankee!
