I'm so happy you found a blacksmith to make your seax. The Viking Village was amazing! Thank you for taking us all along to enjoy it. You've really changed your Viking home around. I've seen variations on your wood stove and it really does heat a space well. With your new shelter doors you could almost double your floor space. Leave the doors straight out for walls. A few branches tied together to form a slight A frame ( maybe 4-5 of those) , with notches to fit on the top of the door and a ridge pole. All made to just be easily tied and untied for storage. Throw a tarp over the A frame and open doors. I love your door runes. They really stand out.

Hello Tom, thank you for the recording of a Viking market, it was really interesting, we have "middle age" village here in Czech, it's called "Ostrá" you change your money on the entrance for a middle age coins and pay there only with it. But last few years for some reason it's not that great as it used to be. Anyway, I bet it must have been awesome at the viking market, the seax looks awesome (and the sheat for it too) and the runes look great on the new gate. The CCS(Cimbrer Camp Shelter) is looking Great! When I was young, we had shelters along the hiking trails, but nothing like this, watching this evolve has been an experience in of it's self. I really like the metal doors and the protection runes on the outside, thank you for sharing this with us and may you use this shelter in health and happiness. Good Luck!

The Viking market looked like a good time with many folks participating in re-enactments, making and selling goods, generally enjoying each other and greeting guest. The music was spot on and beautiful. Nice additions to Cimbrer Camp, the Rune symbols really enhance the front of the shelter and the permanent placement of the chimney for your stove will be handy when the cold winds blow. Hi Tom, I like what you did with the doors on Cimbrer Camp especially painting the hinges, nice touch with the lettering. Love the village except, not enough big burley Vikings with long beards and animal skins, lol. Me and my animal skins, lol. All in all, a very nice video.

That Viking market at Yxengaard was wonderful! There is nothing like that where I live in the US, so I actually saved this video so I can enjoy "walking" through it vicariously again and again. Thank you for sharing it. Also, I wonder if things like you Cimber Seax can be shipped to the US, being that is it a blade.
