Great video Tom. You know what we like, "overnight in Cimbrer camp" 😀 so much I could comment on. The camp is looking great. The grass is growing well and your lodge is really looking part of the forest. Liked your new lamp. It was a guessing game what you were making. Is the lamp with the three wicks a Viking thing? I'm always amazed at your coffee. I count the spoonfuls going into your pot lol. You could float an axe head on that stuff my friend 😀 My favourite bit is the camp by night. Always awesome and extremely cool. BTW. You need a good leather apron for the carving. 😉👍🏻

Stop...just stop. You merely live as a old norse or dane...you are NOT living the Viking ways....when was the Last time you went Viking or raided somewhere, because THAT is Viking. I disagree with you brother 🤔 The name: Viking is not official name after the raiders … it’s a theory that some archaeologists are going for … BUT others are saying that the name comes from the fact that many places here in Denmark 🇩🇰 but especially in Norway 🇳🇴 are named … vik : like Norvik, Sanvik and so on. And here in Denmark we call the people who live on Faroe Islands 🇫🇴 in danish: Færøerne … a Færing So it’s possible that the Vikings came from place that was a vik and therefore Vik-ing … and my guess is as good as yours 😉 Tom

Hello Tom👍👍 Super nice auger set, I've always wanted a complete set and now I know where to find one. The Scotch Eye style is perfect for wild camping/bushcraft, this modified version looks impressive. The oil lamp was no less impressive, old world style crafting and it works so well. Delicious looking meal, made my mouth water thinking how tasty it must be. That coffee was totally awesome, rich and black, of course making this one official with a signature Cimbrer wink😉 Fantastic overnighter in Cimbrer Camp, the ambiance of all the candles and lamps made the shelter magical and the birds welcomed you back. Bloody hell Tom, I thought you were making an orange squeezer at first, but that little lamp worked out really well, you are such a clever chap, that sort of design goes all the way back to the Egyptians, I wish my crook knife was that sharp, Try and try as I might I cannot get mine to keep an edge so maybe it's time to get a new one. not that I would use it. I don't know about you mate but food cooked by yourself, outdoors tastes so much better but do yourself a favour, as an ex-chef (ex-everything at my age) butter with mushrooms are way tastier than with oil. Dinner fit for a king mate, 🤴 looks lovely just needs a beer or ten. 🍻 This is idyllic, you really have it sorted but if it was me in your little Paradice I would need a companion (no, not the wife) I would need a Dog, life is always better with a Dog, man and his best friend, but that is just me my friend. I sit here and watch you with your pipe and wonder what you're thinking whilst in your peace and slumber (maybe should have brought more beer) this is one of the reasons I save your videos for a special day. Anyway, Tom, I have fully enjoyed this film and will carry on watching as long as you carry on making them. All the very best to you and yours, Thank you, your mate Bob.

Tom, I posted but did not see my post. Well, another great video Tom, as always, as you invited us back into your Cimbrer Camp. It was great to hear the birds, the crackling fire, and the rain drops sizzling on your skillet. The birch torch was awesome and got my wheels spinning on that one. That hand auger kit was fantastic. I looked it up and the expense for their bushcraft kit is great. The clay lamp looked great and seemed to throw a lot of light. I am looking into the UCO candle lamps as they provide light and heat without having to use fuel. It was just great to be along with you on another wonderful journey. All the best to you my friend and your family. I have something to send to you and will be sending it on Friday.
