I dream about retiring in a setting like yours. I've wanted this my whole life. I live in the Arizona desert and grew up in Pennsylvania where it's closer to your environment. I left there when I was 10 and have so many memories of exploring the forests, creeks, ponds, rivers, and wildlife and nature that I have missed my whole life. I'm 55 now and go camping and rv'ing as much as I can but I'm ready to go now. I'm pretty comfortable living off grid for months at a time. My business is seasonal so in the winter I take off several months at a time. I just feel at home there as you obviously do as well. I recently did a DNA test to track my ancestry because I'm adopted. Turns out most of my bloodline is from Scandinavian descent. I'm wasn't surprised at all. I love your videos and thank you. They give me much inspiration and your area is beautiful.

beautiful picker, really amazing. And I very much like the self made leather works, working with Leather is also a hobby of mine. I made my pistol and Revolver holsters and many knife sheaths myself. But why do I like your videos? Because they are always so relaxing and calm, you take it easy and casual, not every thing has to be strictly vikinglike on bend and break (for example your not so totally viking like "beer mug" and the grill). And you often show that nice gadgets you made, with detailled construction guidance, like the little lanterns etc. Thanks 👍

Hi Tom, yes it looked like a beautiful day there. A good choice to snip off the point of the sheath, it turned out nice. Man that steak was looking very good. There is no better cut of beef than the Ribeye. What was the seasoning you used on it?
