This is one of the things I love about your channel. Sometimes you're in character as a Viking, other times just a regular Joe camping with modern gear, and other times walking your audience through a craft project! Very diverse. Those one piece chimneys tend to have the same thing in common. Most people that try to assemble them end up with a chimney that looks like a hammered turd when they are done lol.🤣😂🤣😆All kidding aside, what matters is that it works and your spot is amazing!

Tom👍👍 Well this was a relaxing and cozy camp video in the Black Forest using some very nice equipment, having some excellent meals, enjoying nature with sweet Cornelius at your side. Just doesn't get much better than spending time outdoors in a slow paced manner, taking in all the sights and sounds that the wild has to offer. ich mache auch seit 16 jahren mittelalter und das spielt im jahr 1150. bin jetzt aber auf die vikinger-schiene drauf und baue mir gerade einuges nach. das tollste, das du so wenig mit hast und alles da ist. ich reduziere jetzt auch mein bestand auf dem niveau deiner viki-ausrüstung. ich finde deine viki-viedeos + das selbstgebaute richtig toll. ein besuch wär mal eine tolle sache, nur mein englisch ist nicht mehr so flüssig 😁. mach weiter so 👍 gruß

It's a nice stove. I had a small barrel stove that smoked a lot till I raised the damper. After I did that I had more control over the heat and if it smoked or not .back draft on them suck. Open the damper to put wood in and close damper half way or more to retain heat. I did have two dampers for awhile. It helped with sparks.
