I won't deny the befits of modern life, its pretty incredible that we can watch this video on our phones whilst out and about in town, but just because life today is easier doesn't mean its better. There really should be more of a push to go back to traditional living these days, im glad that some people are still living the lives we were meant to.

Beautiful video. Always telling my kids how vikings shaped my region's history and settled with older northumbrian dwellers to become who we are today. Theres a very small viking heritage village in Cumbria called moorforge viking settlement. I've camped there before and watched old crafts etc being made, a lovely little place ran by people with a true passion for the history

Beautiful! Very soothing to watch these scenes of less stressful times long gone by, and to hear the music along with that. My husband‘s ancestry is also from Norway. He has passed on some years ago and we traveled to Norway in 1970 by train. We didn’t get to see all of it but we saw so from our slow Degen and then a little jot via smaller train across into the mountains to. the yard don’t know how to spell it again thank you

very good video, would be interesting, what they cooked in their big pods on their fires. It looks very yummy, I am a very big fan of soups and stews 😋 And if I think, that with these relatively primitive and small Longboats, which didn't even have any deep keels as far as I know, they crossed the oceans and made it to America and back, long before other nations could even think about going on such adventures. This is unbelievable and makes me almost getting goosebumps

Ribe is high on my list to visit with Hedeby . I planned a holiday in 2020 to go to Hedeby and Ribe and to fish for sea trout and salmon in Denmark but then corona came so it has been postponed but i will definitely go there .Great vidio again 🇳🇱🇩🇰👍👌🌲🔥

I love seeing all the old artifacts And house's Here in the Philippines there is house roof's something like that and they are called ( nipa hut ) very livable and cheap to buy.
