Omg Cimo you held onto Smashing Ground way too long when there's a perfect target in Spirit Reaper to use it on. You allowed him enough turns to draw Magic Drain to negate your card.

This was pretty awesome to watch. :) Been playing a lot of Master Duel Arena Edison recently (Admittedly mostly with my own custom Cube to spice things up) Some things I've noticed about Edison with the standard weights of rarity, it's really hard to pull off the Hero fusions, as a lot of the components need to fall into place, either you don't see Miracle, or you don't get a usable Fusion monster usually. Don't diss Gemini's, they were actually playable around this time. Be ready for extra decks full of Essedari, Plaguespreader Synchros and Gaia Knight's, in testing me and my friends had multiple drafts where we had to take 3 copies of multiple of these. Even if they were completely dead, which makes playing for Synchro plays extremely awkward if they're not specifically for easy Gaia/Urbellum spam. Josh's "I just picked Good stuff." approach generally seems to be the way to go. Synergies are just usually too inconsistent if most of your cards don't function on their own, and I'd rather have decent situational Spell/Trap answers partnered with Beatsticks than monsters that need other cards to function properly alongside subpar backrow. Take Cimo's draft here for example, a lot of his cards struggle with just getting ran over or matched by a 1900 beatstick, meanwhile we have E-tele with one target in deck, and I'd generally have another beatstick over a fair amount of his spell/trap card choices. Don't blame him though, I drafted similarly my first few times playing Edison too.

Like normal summon Gale just outs stardust and any other monster with 2500 or less ATK. While Caius may be more impactful, it requires you to already have setup to utilize whereas Gale gets better with setup but is fine without it

Gale was 100% a better choice. It outs Reaper too which is funny. Beats anything under 2450 on its own. lv 3 tuner, Dark, 1300 atk which isn't bad either.

As a quick follow-up, I do still think polymerization should be allowed as a three of as far as having access to automatically. Yes it's cheap instincts a tiny bit but it also allows for the fusions to be more live.

Yes he was. Pretty annoying how he kept leaving Spirit Reaper up with a Smashing Ground for too many turns. It gave Joshua enough turns to draw Magic Drain, the one card that makes Cimo's destruction cards useless.
