@@PyckledNyk The only official way is physically with the limited sets that were released. Basically paying more than retail price for an old product as if you were buying old yugioh packs. Then there's also one GBA game, and that's it. That's all the support it ever got. Unofficially, there's also a mod of the game on Tabletop Simulator, a PC game that lets you play all kinds of tabletop games in a simulated environment.

Draft/Cube are honestly the best ways to play TCGs in general, they actually test you in all relevant areas for the game, it really feels like the ultimate test of skill and luck.It also doesn't have a lot of the downsides of constructed, I really wish TCGs other than MTG would focus more on draft/cube.

Ever since getting more into MTG limited, I couldn't agree more. It's, imo, the way TCGs were meant to be played. You grind limited, gain some cards, and hopefully, over time, get enough or trade enough to build a constructed deck. Love seeing this option in Yugioh

​@@koolaiddude7685894yugioh after gx is simply not designed to be drafted, robust archetypal system is the main attraction of yugioh and differentiate it from others. Yugioh and vanguard is simply not meant to be drafted because of those clans and archetype.

I have always loved Draft/Sealed gaming way more than constructed. Limited draft/sealed is also fun, where you maybe get a structure deck and a few boosters to hopefully put together a slightly more cohesive strategy. It's why I love Mtg more than Yugioh tbh, even though I love yugioh archetypes more.

Suggestion: You guys should draft more than 40 cards (like 50-60) and afterwards choose what to play with. That way you add an additional strategic component to the draft

Although this doesn't account for the extra deck, the Battle Packs in Legacy of the Duelist allow you 3 15 card packs to draft from (pick stuff one by one alternating between the packs, stuff disappears as if others picked it). If you are doing Battle Pack Epic Dawn, picking a lot of XYZ monsters can make you end up with a less than 40 card deck :) but in general you end with 45 cards, and you can choose to keep it all in or filter a few cards out for consistency.

Great idea! Fusion is a bit weird in this because if you don’t manage to draft the two cards that make them relevant you’re spending 1/4th of the draft picking irrelevant cards from a small card pool. I don’t really know how to fix that issue but it doesn’t feel good instinctually

If I remember correctly. In the old school format Sacred Pheonix was only limited to one, because of how broken his effect is. So I don't know if Ryme having two Sacred Pheonix's is considered cheating or not. But still, this duel was fun to watch.

Great concept! Hearthstone drafting is super fun~ One small piece of feedback: I personally found the swapping back and forth between players a bit disorienting. I wonder if a possible solution could be to cut Player 2's screen in half + mask it (just keeping their play area), flip it upside down, and overlay it above yours? Then just have both player's faces on screen the whole time. A little extra editing work upfront - but then you don't need to do as many cuts between the screens.

Imagine last event 2003 event is pretty much a very niche mode that most people don't play sure make a mode that only less than 1000 people plays, also if 3 vs 3 is a dead mode imagine this permanent. If you look at player counts, the most played and popular events are always legend anthology, maybe make an anthology ladder that restrict you to play specific archetypes Instead draft that probably less than 1% of the player base will play?

Great new video. One of the main things I like with Prog, History, and the others is that we don't get to see your opponent's hand or set cards, which makes it more interesting. If we have all the information for both players I think that it takes a big element of fun away from watching. But keep up the great work in general!
