What the game does/doesn't remember is probably missed timing references. So when the game checks the state of play that effect fizzles

For all those asking about chain blocking , simultaneous effects go on chain , so by making your most important effect chain link one instead of 2, you are less susceptible to some hand traps . An example would be saruja draw effect chain link 1 , white dragon search chain link 2, this would not give a window for ash blossom to hit the saruja , hence chain blocking it ( ash must respond to something directly in the chain , whereas something like effect vieler does not .) hope this helps

Many cards like Ash and Roar say "When" so it can only be chained directly to the activation. Veiler however doesn't. So for instance in these Levianeer example above, if he made levianeer CL 1 and Roar CL2, you would use Roar as CL 3 on the roar since it's the only target but then you can Veiller CL4 the Levianeer since it doesn't miss the timing. If you used the veiller first and then the roar you would actually do nothing more than negate your own Veiller. Ouch!

I'm currently playing 3. You don't need Fusion of Fire at most you can side it. Reculsia is a great addition because it help remove a problem card and it's level 3. Salads are still pretty good but it's going to be even harder to stop Thunder Dragons as they still can go and go really far.

Chain block is not an official term. Yu gi oh is already complex, adding made-up word doesn't help. Chain block IS NOT a thing. Is just ordering your trigger effects in a way hard to response to. Tl;dr Your most important trigger effect put it earlier in the chain.

That Salamangreat player made a misplay: Sunlight Wolf shouldn't have been sent to the GY because it was co-linked with Knightmare Phoenix and Phoenix's effect is that co-linked monsters cannot be destroyed by battle regardless of whoever controls it

Weeeell, the Game 3 could have been for salads if him played it better, I've been playing salamangreat since they came out in TCG, so I'm a very good salamangreat player, what he would have done (mainly because he opened with sanctuary, which you don't really want to open with, but this time was perfect to) was searching gazelle with the circle (obviously) and send Foxy, then (even if the Thunder player bounced the Gazelle or not), activate sanctuary to be able to discard falco (that was in hand) and summon foxy, then go into Battle phase (even if he had Gazelle and Foxy on the field or only Foxy) and swing over the brotaur, then in Main Phase 2, bounce Foxy to summon falco in defense mode and pass. With this, He would have ended up with gazelle and foxy in hand and a posible circle being set up because of falco's effect, also save some Life points because of Falco being in defense mode. Overall a good match. Nice videos

He searched fowl instead because the danger! Thunder player could've just used spheres to bounce the normal summon, disabling gazelle's condition, therefore, making him (the salad player) pass.

Thunder player), so, he could just wait for you to summon wolf or something, but I see your point. You still wouldn't win, but we get that he didn't showcase the deck's ideal plays.

Chain blocking hasn't really been relevant since mermail was one of the top tier decks but and I've never had a problem dealing with TD, I would like to see a the chain blocking vid but I don't think you should make it specifically for TD are there any other combos you can include as well as TD that other decks may use and then also try an break them :)

Cimooooo just baited you this time, "chain blocking" is not an "upper level strategy" is just a catchy phrase to said you put your most important trigger effect first on the chain, that is it. But in any game, any field, people like to use slang even if is unnecessary. If you really want to understand "chain blocking" read about SEGOC in ygorganization or any other reliable source. Peace.

I just noticed that Salamangreat is the deck were Super Poly works the lest, since the only thing you can summon using them is Mud Dragon, in very specific situations, while in the others work more consistently, like Orcust and TD

From my initial testing salad has dropped out of the new meta tier one standing there may be a new way to play the deck to change that but as it stands the control component has been substantially weakened due to the fact that without the consistency component you need to more often fetch cards like spinny to full combo and making use of super poly is a dubious proposition in some cases.

the first turn for the thunder dragon player was VERY WEAK, you can search the collapserpent with the brotaur then use triple burst and elpy for a saryuja then do guardragon combo and summon the collapserpent to now make the 2nd saryuja with 4 monster chain blocking it with the collapse serpent and go from there with a possibly much much stronger board...

Pendulums make a better board, mine do, at least, they have a lot of options, and still have access to colossus if you hard draw or just open 1, plus it can be used as discard for pendulum call, or link for tripleburst and guardragon combo. I tend to end on spheres, which bounce 1 and special persona for a negate, abyss to negate on field, or vortex to deal his handtrap anything, bigger negate verity than abyss, and dawn dragster for spell/trap negate
