Stigmatika is a sub archetype of spell/trap cards that support fallen of albaz, we’ve seen some stuff from that before. That’s why the albaz fusion dragon deck is called stigmatika. Ive been playing it for a while and its actually pretty fun, this looks like its going to massively boost its power and consistency though.

Dawn of Majesty is looking to be the most insane set since Rise of the Duelist. This archetype actually has my eye compared to something like Doremichord or Magikeys, and if we're looking at some of the other blowout cards included like Wolfrayet (the Synchro Nibiru-like), Retort Fusion, and the Stardust support, I think we're in for a great time!

That's the thing, the Stigmatika cards we got from LIOV already had potential, because they just reset themselves during EP if sent to the GY off Albaz. Now this comes to fill in. I think it will be a classic case of only playing a few Stigmatika cards with this though, unless you make a very Fallen of Albaz focused deck.

Very slow and runs out of gas. Maybe in duel links where u can consistently have all the cards in hand and draw into more, but in a 40 card deck it just doesn't work.

@@PendBestDeck151 Ehhh, I've been using one and it's been having some pretty good results. Bringing out fusion Lucifer and Dramaturgia together turn one can potentially shut the opponent down if they don't have outs. That and running Super Poly. Although I will say, it's probably better off you use Despia with other stuff like Shaddoll Invoked and just keep Luci in the ED. Still, I'm at least glad I'm not bricking hard anymore while playing Darklords.

@@cheshirewise942 I wouldn't say this card's existence confirms or denies anything. Verte in itself is really only reviled under the reign of Dragoon, and the OCG has long since done away with him. In that vein, cards designed in Japan probably don't necessarily reflect the intentions of our localizer.

I was deck building a couple hours before Despian Dogmatika. I only played the 2 stigmatika spells that work with Despian. Unfortunately Albaz doesn't seem too good. At least I could build a Dogmatika deck without Aleister.

Finally!!!! Someone saying that Despia can be used for Shaddolls and/or Invoked!! IDK why everyone, including a lot of Yugitubers, is saying Darklord will abuse this or it's better off for that archetype!! I have play test all variants and Darklord is to slow and doesnt have that good of synergy nor good end board vs Shaddoll and/or invoked have a way better synergy! We've been getting a LOT of new card reveals lately from Dawn of Majesty and the new Animation Chronicle 2021 set (the newest take on Collector's Pack/Battles of Legend) and a lot of these cards seem PRETTY spicy. Gusto support is nice, Chronomaly support is nice, the new Sherry LeBlanc cards seem interesting, this Despia archetype could be VERY spicy with the right combination, and there's even MORE Utopia support? Like... What timeline am I living in right now? I am actually pretty excited about these reveals...

Well, that would limit DD a lot. If you want to make a spicy DDeck just wait and mix them with Sherry's cards in a fusion focused build. The lvl10 synchro not only covers you from Nib, it can start a revival chain during the Standby Phase.

I just love Yu-Gi-Oh archetypes. I mean every single one of them is cool (with exceptions) but sometimes its just beyond cool. Both with the Design, which look like a painting, the Concept which is so original, but the most amazing is the Lore. There are many archetypes that coexisted in the Yu-Gi-Oh World, as seen with Dual Terminal. But the first time that more than one archetypes were given a common lore, it was with the World Chalice. World Chalice, World Legacy, Krawler, Mekk-Knight, Knightmare, Crusadia, Orcust, Guardragon. They are all related to the same Lore, which is so developed and complex, that you could make a book/manga/series/movie/anime about it. And then we arrive to Fallen of Albaz. A single monster that acts as the connection point between Dogmatika, Tri-Brigade, Springans, Despia and Stigmatika. We still don't know the true depth of the Lore, but it has the same potential as the World Chalice's. I really want to discover more of its Lore. Anyway, thanks for coming to my Ted Talk

Despia is based on the lore of the dogmatika and tribrigade world, with some despia cards being dogmatika cards, and they attack the tribrigade.... and may.... kill some of the members depressingly. Hopefully not corrupt them

That tragedy card looks really good. You can trigger off it's effect from foolish burial, allure of darkness, and gold sarc. The only thing is that it has to be sent or banish by card effect, so cards that send for costs won't trigger its effect. I also how the field spell is generic as well. I might try it out in my Dark Magician Deck.

There are stigmatika cards from Lightning Overdrive as well, and the Albaz fusion called Albion the Stigmatika dragon lets you fusion summon one monster by banishing materials, upon its summon. You can use that with these.

I want to splash this in fluffals. The field spell is extra copies of poly that enable you to use set rotation to screw over mystic mine, edge imps are all dark, so you have materials, you get more materials and poly from chain -> patchwork, there's more cards to unbrick "just edge imp" hands. Fluffal + despia hands could get awkward (besides wings) but a fluffal hand that actually has fluffals in it is probably still good since it can probably draw half the deck because that's what fluffals do. Also extra deck space would be suuuuppppeeeeerrr tight. It's already really tight in pure fluffals. I'm certain that that's the wrong play and shadolls are an objectively better archetype to combine with this, but I don't play shadolls and do play fluffals, so there.

There is also some inadvertent synergy with Drytron/Cyber Angels since the effect monsters are all fairies. Now they can't be searched off Benten but they are still fuel for the Heralds. Opens up some fusion plays with the Drytron deck which really helps with the extra deck strength as that has been the big weakness with Drytron is there isn't much extra deck support. Mu-Beta will help tremendously, but this has some interesting potential as well. This is also going to take Dragoon to the next level assuming it doesn't get hit on the next banlist. Imagine a world where someone has an out to your Dragoon and when they activate said effect or declare an attack you activate the effect of Comedy to pop it and special summon Comedy. If you have the Theatre card on the field, as soon as they re-declare the attack and the Comedy is destroyed, you can activate the Theatre effect to re-summon Dragoon. It is like a Time-Thief type thing where you can essentially banish it for a turn and return it to the field. Except it is tributing Dragoon to not only "save" your Dragoon, but it also preserves LP since you would more than likely be special summoning the comedy in defense. And since the Comedy tributes and doesn't target or destroy it works. Interesting synergies with a lot of decks and strategies I think.

Oh, look. Another small package I can run in my 60 card Shaddoll Invoked Dogmatika Eldlich pile. Also Dramaturgia of Despia looks a bit like Dogmatika Maximus. Most of them seems like great Shaddoll Schism targets as well.

All of them are "corrupted dogmatika. Just check their stats, they're reversed from their counterparts (Fleur, Maximus, Nexus). Even the 1800 ATK despia is the girl that replaces Ecclesia in the last Dogmatika card

I've said this elsewhere, but at least for a laugh I'd love to playtest an abhyss/despia hybrid. Chaos GY synergy (aleth can recycle banished monsters as long as at least one of them was a reptile), boss #1 reducing opponent's field to 0 enables echidna plays, boss #2's summon effect synergizes with queen to pop a card on the field for no cost since you're summoning from their GY to your side that can either be a negate they spent already or just a random extra deck card that you can use to extend plays...

You can also using swordmaster of the bewitching iris in this deck as a light target because most of the destepia cards negate effects and she specials herself when a monster has its effects negated on field.

Darklords x Despians is now the most consistent deck I've ever tested (Lucifer) The First Darklord protecting every single Fairy from effects: Despian's inherent Negate monster: Draumaturgia Also Quaeritis, which completely shuts down rogue decks making everything 0 atk Apollousa, with her ez 4 materials aka 4 negates Superbia and Draumaturgia giving you back more bodies for free so you can link up / fuse even further

This has the potential to be tier 1. This can work with Shaddoll, invoke, and dogmatika. The only issue is figuring out the right game plan for how to implement the deck. Extra deck space will be hard to figure out. There are so many different paths you could take with the Despia Archetype. The other thing you have to consider is the number of starters verses the number of bricks you have in your deck. The number of light or dark monsters in the deck might matter. The deck just requires a lot of hand testing before we see actual play. We might even see a deck play 3-4 different ways to fusion summon at this point. I guess my question is, what is the ideal end board on your 1st turn or how consistent can this fusion deck break boards? Despia Archetype = rated 5/5

YGO top tier potential ... 1- 0 resources and neurons required to special summon múltiple times 2- Multiple tutor/advantage effects as to not stop doing #1 3- Not letting Ur opponent to play/multiple negations embeded in the monster effects/archetype Done... and they say this game doesn't play itself ;)

11:16 I hate that new standard for field spells. I don't think field spells were ever meant to be a more accesible tenki for each archetype and I think Konami is mostly trying to move away from that as well.
