Our new Cinch Strap makes the cinch net even easier to use. It took 1 person 3 minutes to put the net on this round bale. This feeder reduces waste by as much as 55%! They are available on our website www.cinchchix.com

We laid ours on its side to keep the horses from rolling the bale off from our pallet. We love the net so far, its working great!

Can you still pick up the bale with the tractor spear and place it in a feeder with the net on?

Won't the hay net rot faster being under the bale?

I am wanting a hay net to replace an old metal round bale ring that is on it's last legs. I don't want the slow the feeding process down put be able to save hay from wasting and this seems like a much safer alternative to a metal hay ring. What size is the biggest opening you can get for horses and it seems like the small openings would be more likely to injure teeth and gums than larger openings and also get holes chewed in it easier.

Hey Linda! Thank you for writing. If you aren't going to use a feeder around the net, I would recommend the 13/4" original as our 21/2" would be too large of openings for them to get a hoof caught in without a feeder.

That is not a big bale.... I can not roll my bales around like that.

Depends on what kind of hay it is...coastal bermuda is very light and we can roll them even though they are large in size they are not heavy.

I know! Our bales are 6 X 6 and it takes all my husband and I have to roll the dang thing. We have a skid steer to move it I am thinking it would be easier to put it on while its on the skid steer and cinch it up once its in place.
