What about the awful dipped timing belt? Is it gone and replaced with a timing chain?
@fb45333 ай бұрын
Replaced by a chain. But there are still problems with that motor. Opel/ Vauxhall Corsa were equiped with it last year: there could be elongated chain (with shifting in the position of the links !) and problems with the chain tensioner. There is no information if they solved the problem with oil consumption (maybe not enough time/ kms driven to have a feedback ?)

I wanted to like this, wanted it so much, dissapointed, actually very bulky, falls short in so many areas, those roof rails are plastic caps, the roof rack actually just fits to holes in the door frame, cool looking car but lacks substance, bought a Kia Stoinc instead, it works, its knows what it is, a small everyday car,

@cinch4 ай бұрын
Hey! This review starts with with petrol-powered C3, not the e-C3. So our comparison to the Puma refers to that. Feedback's always appreciated, so can we ask why you don't you think this crossover is comparable to the similarly-sized Puma?
@N1ckZ4 ай бұрын
@@cinch Because the Puma is 20cm longer, 5cm wider and has 146 liters of extra boot space. The C3 is tall because of the batteries that have to fit at the bottom of the electric version. That doesn't mean it has more space inside than before. It's just lifted. Its height doesn't mean anything. It's only slightly longer than before, but LESS wide. It has the same footprint as the previous C3.

I believe that both the Citroën C3 Turbo Plus and the Jeep Avenger share the same body shell. They are both made by the same manufacturer, Stellantis. That apart, specifically mentioning that you stood on the roof of a car undermines your credibility as a motoring journalist! At no point in their car ownership period will owners ever considor standing on the roof of their car (other than if they became trapped in deep floodwaters). I was very much inclined to switch off at that point, but being interested in the car, I resisted the inclination. Garbage details like the restyled chevrons and awful, PR dept. inspired 'happy tags' are best ignored, and if looking at them to lighten your mood in traffic jams is your practice, then you have a problem...
