I am not even American, but the stories of these people who risked their lives really get to me. What heroes! They deserve to be happy and comfortable. Bless all of them.

I won't say thank you but instead I'll say sorry for what happened.

I feel the same . The Vietnam conflict was not a wise move. But the military-industrial complex wouldn't be satiated. Almost caused a revolt in the U.S. ARMY from returning soldiers dissatisfied with the mind f**k going down.

Pure miracles... Both of you. I was fortunate enough to be raised, (and ruined ha-ha ;) by a miracle man. He died in 2013. Oh how I wish he could be here to hear these stories. Thank y'all so much for sharing this! "Hold on I'm coming", by Sam and Dave was his and his buddy's fav tune.

This is one of those stories that it’s very hard to explain unless you’ve been there and have served with somebody that you’ll never forget. There’s a lot of guys that I served with in the Navy that I would absolutely love to reconnect with.

Probably one of them declined to go on camera. It would have been nice after all the search effort. They probably have met up since the broadcast.
