Wonderful! I expected a Godmother rather than Doves & pigeons! But I got the allegory I was looking for. Bless up! 💯

Love the Cinderella story. It gives you hope. Why can't we have the Singing ringing tree story. X❤

My first time hearing about the Grimm version of Cinderella was in 7th Grade. It was much different than the Disney version many of us grew up to.

Cinderella is definitely a classic, especially the Disney cartoon, so nostalgic, just like Thumbelina and Alice in Wonderland, which are also great childhood classics. 🤗🤗🤗

That would be amazing! Although it’s incredibly long. Would probably be close to a 24 hour video!

I get that the sisters needed to be punished, but blindness isn’t a punishment.

Which came first perrault’s version or this version?
@classicaudiobookswithelliot9 ай бұрын
Certainly Perrault’s version, but there were many more before either!

The Brothers Grimm were collectors of stories written by others. Cinderella was written by the French writer Charles Perrault.

Thanks for listening! There was also a version written in 1634 by Giambattista Basile so I believe these stories have been retold many times over hundreds of years
