Lots of fun to be had on this podcast. I especially liked CB’s magic picture response of laughing till you cry in pink. Laughter is definitely the best medicine and blessed are those who have a contagious laugh and can find the funny side of day to day life. I’m grateful for those people because they make life that much lighter and remind us to get over ourselves!!! 😉

Just listened for the 4th time. The end of the show , I felt sad. We put our hands on our hearts , as Graham asked, made me think of how lucky I am, for so many things. He’s special, not a show off , not egotistical, just very honest. Wish him always the best.He deserves it!

My biggest regret right now in my life is not understanding why Amy and Ty never hooked up for life.
@paulalenker66033 жыл бұрын
@@wgborel in real life, even in interviews, they have never seemed truly close. She has always talked about her real life husband a lot. I don’t think they had any feelings for each other besides what was written. It was even hard to see a friendship in interviews, but they acted well on screen.

Graham, I am so grateful that Jesus Christ lives in my heart. He is the focus of my whole life, from joy and peace and love, to my beautiful family. We care, love and encourage one another. From the first time and throughout all the seasons of Heartland, I believe your true self, character, kindness and integrity shown through your portrayal of Ty. I love the person of Ty, but I also love the person you are in your podcasts. You are genuine in your love and encouragement for others. I will miss you terribly in Heartland, but I will continue to see and hear you in your podcasts. God bless you.

I always listen to great podcasts at least twice and yours always have things worth trying to catch more than once. A couple of takeaways for me from your conversation with Cindy apart from all the laughs and fun memories: 1. The analogy of the tree/cave and the generations building on what we leave behind. 2. Connecting with people you encounter, making them feel acknowledged or "seen". 3. The tough conversation you had with a friend to work through differences and that it was worth the tears, the raised voices to restore the relationship and that we may not be able to hold onto relationships that want to diminish our integrity. Cindy's right. You're really good at this podcast thing. You listen and add to what you bring out in your guests. Hugs!!

I've enjoyed listening to this podcast with Cindy Busby. She is so hilarious and sounds like a funny person to be around. Her role in Heartland doesn't show this side of her. The realness of the conversation about everyday things makes one realize that we need to keep things real. They talk about making people feel special, it's so true! The saying goes "don't judge me, until you walk a mile in my shoes" is such a real quote for this day and age. Continue keeping it real and thank you for this lovely conversation.

@leeannmills88543 жыл бұрын
I too am grateful for everything, good and bad, that has happened in my life; it has made me who I am and has brought me to this place. I am most grateful for Jesus, without Whom I would be lost or dead; He is my Rock and my anchor in the storms that inevitably come. I am so very blessed to have been given by God a family that loves through good and bad and ugly, and are devoted to staying close and connected. I am more thankful than words can express for my son, the light of my life. I have always said that God sent Jesus to save my soul, and Caleb (my son) to save my life, because I was traveling a dark and depressing path and my baby completely changed that. I am grateful beyond measure for every second of joy that I can find in these dark times. For me that joy comes from the Lord, and to paraphrase Scripture, that joy gives me the strength to endure whatever life throws at me. I'm sorry my comment is so long, but your conversations, for me, provoke conversations with God and reexamination of my life and what I'm doing with it. You ARE very good at this, as Cindy said, and I wish you all the best 😊.

Really entertaining interview on several levels. Cindy Busby’s reply to the “Magic Painting” question was interesting! It reminded me later of a lyric from Joni Mitchell’s song “People’s Parties”: “One minute she’s so happy Then she’s crying on someone’s knee Saying: ‘Laughing and crying, you know it’s the same release”. Haven’t we all been there? We laugh so hard, and there’s a sudden flip, like a blurring of emotions where instead of laughter, tears start flowing, and you don’t even know why you’re crying.

I finally got to listen to this! So sorry I haven’t got around to it. I love Cindy’s personality, she’s so lovely! I love how you said your friend loves watching his friends succeed. That’s so beautiful! I couldn’t agree more with him. It’s such an incredible feeling to watch someone you know succeed in life. It’s inspirational for those starting out on the road. I also really loved when you started talking about hardships, I get that and I’ve gone through that, am still going through that. But I’m really thriving to get to where I wanna be. I wanna stay positive like Cindy is and that’s my main focus. Stay positive and keep going. Because with something I love doing, I won’t give up on trying to pursue that dream. Graham I thank you and Cindy for really focusing on that subject, it really opens my mind at how so many people out there are in/were in the same boat as me and have been successful. It gives me hope knowing I know I will get there. Thank you so much! I really appreciate you and these podcasts. You’re an absolute natural at it. I’ve listened to two episodes so far and it got me thinking about the painting question. So, if you want to know, my painting would be like a white and light grey marbled with gold, brown and green veins and the feeling I would like to feel when I look at it is Peace. I spend so much time stressing about things that I can’t control in my life and I would just love to be able to look at a painting and forget about it all, if only for a moment, and just feel peace.
