It’s an interesting educational tool in the sense that it makes you think about light in a very practical way - I use these in lighting workshops for that reason.

lol, what a scam. 5000$ for a mirror? And as for the diffused panels, I'll bet it's just frosted glass. I'll be experimenting to build one. Use Acrylic mirrors, they're light weight and don't break. So don't let this guys nonsense convince you, you need to spend 5,000 for a mirror.
