I had to subscribe! I came from your Field Force Control Tutorial and i didnt know how to render the tracer without redshift and I saw your reply to a comment and brought me here. Thank you for your help!

Thank you for that finally getting an insight to the field force. Referering to the head example, is it at all possible to Stick the splines to the surface of an animated source?? ie walking human.

My pleasure. Regarding the animated surface, I haven't explored that yet. Simply parenting the head to a Null doesn't seem to do the trick. One immediate workaround is to export the tracer to an alembic file before you animate the head. Then make the alembic a child of the head. Alembic files are also easy to offset in time and speed up or slow down.

hello, i am just wondering how can i write the characters faster? my particles are moving a bit too slow, they couldn't finish writing even after 1000 frames. i think i followed your tutorial exactly, but im using r25.

Hi. It's been a while since I did the tutorial so I don't recall the exact steps. What have you tried so far? Did you try the velocity strength?

I'm sorry it is possible to follow up this tutorial in R20?

Hi Anar. Field Force didn't exist in R20, so we'd have to use different techniques. I would attack this with X-Particles in R20.

Everything is ok in R21 but in render its showing nothing, i just add hair material to tracer object too, but in viewport render its showing but in main render its not showing , any idea about this problem

Hi Sunil. Export the animation as an Alembic file and add the hair material to that file instead. That's essentially baking the animation. Just remember to disable the original Tracer file.
