WOW. You are the best teacher I followed so far. I'm an animation director, and usuaully work mostly in 2D, but I've been hiring 3D animators for landscapes designs, and I want to learn how to use 3D to help myself conceptualize better. Thank you!!

I have just been learning the cloth properties.. i wonder if you gave one of those material layers a cloth property you could simulate the bubble popping!!?? bubble BURST!!!

Great tutorial! Have you tried using your acrylic drip textures for film width? I find it natural as it represents more of an oil slick.

Yes I have, it works great, although I wanted to show how it can be done all within Octane without external textures for this one.
