is there a way to make it ignore the noise on one object but denoise the rest of the render? cuz I've been trying to render a design with a part that needs to have the noise shader on it...

Not that I'm aware of.

In Blender it also uses Normal pass, this seems to be an incomplete implementation, would like to see improvement on this, and hope Intel will release it's version to also handle animation.

This also uses a normal pass, check out C4D help documentation

Thanks DigitalMeat for this tutorial but I still think that Maxon should allow users to specify which objects in the scene should be affected by the new Denoiser. Something like include or exclude options.
@DIGITALMEAT4 жыл бұрын
That wouldn't be possible at this stage as the denoiser is like a post effect that is applied after the render.

Thank you it is great But where do we find it and how do we install it in the cinema 4D put a link to bear please!
@DIGITALMEAT4 жыл бұрын
It's not a plugin. it's part of Cinema 4D depending on which version you have.

@@raminader7930 Yes, I do actually state in this video at 0:17 that this was introduced in R21.

Can I use denoiser for removing noise in Arnold render??
@DIGITALMEAT5 жыл бұрын
Not Sure, I don't have Arnold, but like most 3rd party renderers, I'd expect Arnold to have it's own denoiser builtin.

I tried Octan render, everything works, I think it should work with any third-party render
