Hey guys, so by now you may know I love playing around with camera projections and using Cinema 4D to give us the ability to interact with photos and bring them to life.
I wanted to take it a step further for you guys and give you a simple technique, using the collision deformer, to get beautiful fluid motion.
This is a fun little setup and will give us some really nice results
Let's jump in and see how it comes together!

hey man, thanks for the great tut. :) very informative.. do you use r18 or r19? i can imagine this could also work with video, using the tracking and solving the scene and creating geometry and replacing the court with the plane. ;)

not bad, but shame that the ball is intersecting with the plane as it rolls off... it takes away a lot of realism... any way to fix this?

Why aren't you using the calibration guides? You'd have it lined up in 2 seconds instead of eyeballing it.
