This is great. I found that you can easily change the drop profile with a different shape. For instance a star spline instead of a circle. Make the star path, then toggle down each drop. Ctrl Shift each Shape Instance, then drag your star spline into the Reference Object to replace the circle with your star. This can be done with other shapes as well.

First off, thanks for such a cool plug-in! It is really cool.I am having problems with the dynamics as well though. The dynamics works fine until I have them follow a spline. Once they follow a spline, they cease to interact. I'm using r15 if that helps.

you need to adjust the dynamics body tag in the cubes. check out my tutorial "Dynamic Chain", you have some useful tips about dynamics there, and how to solve your problem. go to the second part.

I am quite new to the whole C4D thing, I am used to AE, Maya and 3DsMax, and they're very interesting to use but, I am wondering how you go about actually making a preset? Did you have a team of coders with you using the language that C4D uses (I am guessing it's pyhton, or a sub-form of MEL but I could be wrong, probably are) or is there an ability inside the program itself for you to create such a thing. If you could reply that'd be great. Love the effect it makes, especially with the use of the collision, the lighting in beautiful. The use of GI is brilliant and clever.

+Alex Cullinane-Carrasco Well, technically Motion Drop is not a plugin. It's an Xpresso Rig with a custom user interface, or "user data". You can create things like this with the use os the Xpresso tag. The need of code will vary.

When I use cloner in the end my cube is like one huge cub and not many small cubes like you have. And drops are not going through them, they only hit that one huge cube :(
