They would have done that in the UK as well. It's part of why the final season was just not credible. In earlier seasons the police were already all over Dushane like a measles rash. That fell flat but the police were angered and had unfinished business with him. They then find his DNA at an actual murder scene yet there is absolutely no effort to find him, he also didn't even think about fleeing until his lawyer warned him. It's just a joke. In real life armed police would be breaking down every door he'd ever walked through and he would probably be arrested within hours.

But even if those aren't their heights. I was simply analizing heights stated in the clip. And throughout the entire show dris looks noticebly taller than dushane. Looks several inches taller than him in every scene. Way more than just 1 inch. And also looks to be almost the same height as sully.

That's the longest ever sentence other than whole-life that the UK has ever seen and he was only spared whole life because he was under 21 at the time of the bombing. The longest ever serving inmate in British history that i know of was a guy called John Straffen who died in 2007 after 55 years inside. He was sentenced to hang in 1952 for murdering a child, sentence got commuted to life and he was never paroled.
