I've always disliked the ending. I got what the. Moral is saying "Don't bite off more than you can chew", but Twilight's duty (other than babysit Flurry Heart) is to read a story to a bunch of sick foals who have Horsey Hives. so the moment Flurry Heart has a tantrum and uses magic to find her whammy really bugged me and it aays that Twilight is in the wrong for yelling, even though Flurry could've almost killed one of the foals, and is made even worse with the fact that they have a common virus, a considering what we had to go through between 2020-2021, this episode is already dated. This episode might get looked down upon nowadays solely because of that.

I mean, i understand the value of communication and teaching but kids aren't always willing to listen nor understand and get upset pretty easily when things don't go their ways and because there is a good reason doesn't guarantee that they will accept it. That's why autority and boundaries need to be firmly established. The kid can't be at the command of the family life, it's just a kid, parents are. So i don't like that Twilight was portrayed in the wrong for yelling at Flurryheart because what else could she do beside asserting autority? It's not like Flurry was caring in the slightest that she was putting sick foals in danger and she couldn't, she's a baby.

Twilight takes the blame for flurry getting into mischief but in reality she should have told them "hey you kinda just dumped her off on me with no warning so I could adjust my schedule." This episode also makes her out to be in the wrong for yelling at flurry even though flurry could have hurt or unalived a foal all because she lost a toy that she'll probably lose interest in at some point anyway. Twilight wasn't in the wrong for being mad. She also had every right to yell. Justifiable anger is a thing.

"Justifiable anger" does not apply here. Mlp have wonderful episodes about treating anger as a valid emotion (like The Sound of Silence). This is not one of them. This scene was a grown ass mare yelling at a fucking filly out of her own incompetence at handling her. If she yelled at Candace and Shining, a case could've been made for whether or not she was right since they did pressured her into accepting it but she could've easily said no, but when it comes to Flurry Heart, she was wrong. Period. The yelling was effective and probably the only non-violent solution at that point, but it shouldn't have got to that point in the first place. She was negligent to her baby niece all day and has only herself to blame for Flurry's mischiefs. And the episode itself made that very clear.

I also don't believe Twily should've yelled at Flurry like that, even seeing Spike's face at that moment. I Just don't think she should've yelled at Flurry. I always thought it was weird that the toys from the cake twins are a lot smaller than in their first episode. They are big back then! They can choke on them even more then. "A Flurry of Emotions" is another one of my favorites! especially because it's Flurry Hearts first but sadly only main focus episode. Seeing all of the antics and shenanigans that happened in this episode was both adorable and hilarious! Although i can't say i condone Cadence and Shining Armor just dumping Flurry Heart off on to Twilight without so much as a heads up, i mean babysitting works in a certain way for a reason especially when getting notified by the parents. But at least both Twilight and Cadence and Shining Armor learned their lessons in the end, I give this episode 5/10!

Twilight was just as bad as Cadence and Shining, It's like she said "I never shoud have agreed to watch Flurry with a jam packed schedule" this was one of the few episode where I agree with Spike. That's why this is one of the worst episodes of the show in my opinion, Because Shining Armor and Cadence had to play the neglectful parent card by "needing a break from parenting" only to later end up missing having Flurry around. And Twilight just had to prove she's "The best aunt ever" by looking after Flurry Heart despite having a mile long list of to do's, Which is obviously one of the dumbest decisions Twilight has ever made.

Dropping off a baby without warning is a super eughh for me. I love taking care of babies myself ( yes, I’m the only one here who don’t hate babies ), but when you don’t even send a message, yeah that’s pretty inconsiderate. Twilight could’ve found a way to work around her schedule, Flurry Heart is a baby but in this case, she shows she knows what’s she’s doing ( except she didn’t know she was levitating everything and everyone ), so yeah Twilight getting upset is understandable. They could’ve had their maids, servants, or Sunburst take care of her. Which I highly doubt their servants or maids couldn’t. If that was the case, they’d all get fired or whatever the term is for royalty. And Twilight shouldn’t have agreed to this. Taking care of Flurry Heart? No.The idea of taking care of her and the tasks was a bad idea. And the writing makes it seem like Twilight don’t know how to multitask or work around a schedule. I also find it weird how they keep certain scenes going on for too long. Like…I was waiting for that conversation with Twilight, Shining Armor and Cadence in the beginning to end. And someone already made a comment on this but yeah, sending a baby to be in a room with sick kids is not good.

Babies have sensitive ears. And 2. Yeah yelling is just loud noise that scares them rather than makes them feel bad for whatever they did. So Flurry Heart crying after being yelled at makes double sense. Besides the fact she’s a literal baby.

Flurry was a huge mistake, this episode highlighted what a bad character she is, the one and only character I dislike.
