Hope they use this for Cinemark's 40th anniversary next year

This year marks Front Row Joe's 35th anniversary year, as well as the 40th anniversary of Cinemark Theaters. This is his first appearance in Cinemark Theaters Policy Trailers.

I love these trailers! I'm so glad to have found them here on KZbin. I used to see these every friday night when I came with my friend to see the latest great movie at Tinseltown, A 17-screen Cinemark Theatre, here in Erie, PA. They made the movies even BETTER! Front Row Joe is so awesome! I would love to see the return of these trailers for viewing by a new crowd of movie goers. Front Row Joe, Popcorn Penny, come back, please! The world needs you!

+David Berchtold I wish the Cinemark-owned Rave Cinemas in my area even did so, I barely saw an image of Front Row Joe while passing the box office to see the new Star Wars flick.

Perhaps I can help. I'm planning to put together a Retro Decade Revival Project. Our goal is to bring old school, real entertainment, true talent, pure originality and diversity and more back into the public mainstream, starting with the 1980s.

Another Cinema intro with Skywalker Sound that you uploaded, like the Santikos 1989 theatre policy you uploaded 7 years ago (which I re-uploaded). Skysound only mixed music here, though--nothing about sound design here.

Notice at the end Joe has his arm around Penny Popcorn, the cat sitting next to her looks very uncomfortable. Meanwhile Joe is leering at the male cat sitting next to him. And Joe is modeled after a typical 80s hipster...and they are very open minded people, if you catch my drift...

You have a very dirty mind. Joe's pupils are supposed to look at the camera. And the cat who looking at Joe in the left is having a good time.

They should play this in movie theater still caz people lack common sense these days. Once I went to the movies this lady had 5 kids and 2 of them had light up sketchers in a movie theater.I felt like getting up and slap some common sense in her.

Doesn't Joe know that the front row is one of the worst places to see a movie? The audio sweet spot is 2/3 back and in the middle. That’s where audio engineers sit to balance the sound, and where you’ll get the full effect of the chopper buzzing by or the building exploding. My issue with the front row is having to look up to see the whole screen! When I went to see the Moshi Monsters movie, the only seats I could get were a bit too close to the screen! (Not too close, but I did still have to keep my head up for the duration of the film)
@NijiMarii7 жыл бұрын
Yeah, but "2/3 Back And In The Middle Joe" doesn't sound as groovy.
