I mean in the places where ducks live there aren't a large amount of aquatic predators that can threaten an adult duck, and there aren't a lot of land predators that can outswim a wary duck once it's in water ( they'd usually be hunted by ambush ). the logic tracks lol it's why they live in the water in the first place / the first step to being a baby duck is heading to the water ect. hell, ducks even shed their flight feathers for a portion of the year!

THANK YOU. I was surprised CinemaSins didn’t call out the way the movie pretended they didn’t totally kill the chef. He’s not getting out of that net or somehow climbing all the way back up to re-enter the helicopter, he’s dangling until it runs out of fuel and crashes. (Although I would posit that since he was trying to return the ducks to NYC and his restaurant at the time they made their escape, it would likely crash over land rather than water. Potentially killing even MORE people)

At 16:37, they are sort of mimicking something that eagles do during courtship. They sort of dance around super high up, locking talons, and fall down to the earth while spinning in a cartwheel-like fashion, and release at the last possible moment. How to Train Your Dragon makes a reference to this too! I don’t think ducks do this though, lol.

@@nikol64 Good point, but it’s unlikely that all their wings would be clipped imo since they’re for farms and not pets. I agree that they should not have been able to fly as well as they did in the film though. There’s no way they could’ve since they’ve probably never practiced flying a lot. I mean, there are stories of Catfish the size of humans that hang out by damns and will try eating humans in one bite, so eating a duck in one bite is definitely possible. Also, please note I am unsure if these stories are true or not. The Catfish people say are that big live near the damns on the Mississippi
@mrblack51457 ай бұрын
They are not true. Catfish do get massive, according to the current American records: Blue catfish Richard Anderson caught a 143-lb blue catfish in Kerr Lake, Virginia in 2011, making it the world record. The fish was 57 inches long and had a 44-inch girth. Flathead catfish Ken Paulie caught a 123-lb flathead catfish in Elk City Reservoir, Kansas in 1998, making it the accepted world record. The fish was 61 inches long and had a girth of 43.75 inches. Channel catfish W. Whaley caught a 58-lb channel catfish in Santee-Cooper Reservoir, South Carolina in 1964. The fish was 47.25 inches long and had a girth of 29 inches. White catfish Russell D. Price caught a 19-lb, 5-ounce white catfish in Oakdale, California in 2005. Missouri River Greg Bernal caught a 130-lb blue catfish in 2010, breaking Tim Pruitt's previous record by six pounds. Mississippi River A 121-lb catfish has been caught on the Mississippi River. That being said, Catfish are bottom feeders and they would have no reason to attempt to eat a whole human. Catfish noodling is an exception, but those who practice it will attempt to force a Catfish to bite their arm in order to pull it out from its burrow. The fish isn't biting to feed, it's a defensive measure.
