There should be at least one sin removal for the line *The government doesn’t lie to people*; that had the whole theater cracking up in laughter.

I love people who feel smart because they realizes that government lies to people and they feel as if they uncovered some wild truth, instead of understanding that governments lie to people for the same reasons parents lie to their kids (which is not "for their good" but, rather, because kids don't understand complex topics and situations much like the majority of people knows/understands jack about how to run a country).

"Are the monsters gone?" "No. They just nuked a town of folks." Also, unintentional comedy off the woman saying 'the government doesn't lie to people'. Totally fitting that she got nuked by the government. Also yes, this was probably the most fucked up ending yet most on the nose ending one could think of. This was a ridiculously DARK movie and not cause of the tone. I mean, were they incapable of finding a way to have this unfold at night but not have the audience squinting to see what's happening with most of it? Oh and how could the Predators let that body onto the ship without bothering to scan it? I guess plot armor called for the most meticulous hunters to just let that go cause there's no movie without it being missed.

You say that no movie has ever given a reason for the Pred to take off their mask, but in 'Predator', they do so because it realises Arnie is way more of a challenge than it thought and deserves to be fought on an equal footing. It's another example of the Yautja paying 'respect' to the creature they're hunting before the kill.

Devil's advocate here only cause I agree they need more of this in media but, if a person saw already that a being can literally rip a spine out of your ally with the skull attached and then you want to fight it with no weapons besides hand to hand, my thoughts are if I'm the creature that this thing isn't at my level and I'm walking away which they end up showing in other movies when people either disarm themselves or are weakened (like the pregnant cop in pred 2 or the guy with cancer in the first AVP). As a viewer seeing that I'm thinking this person is either just trying to die or they're crazy and making a huge gamble, which the ladder happened at that moment "come on! kill me, I'm right here do it!"

It really isnt. Someone is clueless about how odds work. Think of all the millions of people in the world with electronic devices, someone, maybe several thousand, would be watching a Alien/Predator movie just as this video was released by CinemaSins. You're really not special, buttercup. Plus, think of all the millions of times 'coincidences' like this DON'T happen. Way outnumbering the Times they do.

The darkness in this movie has pissed me off since it came out. The best parts (being loose w the term) had to be: the alien at the window scene...yes there is a monster out there, The fact that they did keep randomly picking off "main characters " And just the creepiness of seeing xenos moving around a normal human town.....assuming you were able to see them at all...

Should've given an extra sin at 15:18 for the size of that nuke. TWO HUNDRED kilotons would decimate 30 square miles probably twice as much with fires. Gunnison is 3 square miles with a 6,500 population 😂. For reference the bomb at Hiroshima was 15 Kilotons.

The predators were super inconsistent in this movie from normal. One of them sent a distress call. The lead predator in the movie sets traps, goes alone, and decides to go toe-to-toe with what you'd think they'd consider an abomination. Why wouldn't he have just nuked it from orbit? It would be the only way to be sure.

@@SlaughterhouseDb I mean, her death was an accident, or more likely would be considered collateral. In this situation it's possible a Predator would face consequences, though it would depend on their clan and how strictly they follow the religious and societal rules. I would say in this situation, based on what is revealed of their culture in other media, if he didn't take a trophy from her then her death would not be considered part of the hunt, as she was running by and the blade wasn't meant for her. Therefore he'd be clear of legal punishment but may face some societal shame due to him being such an experienced hunter who killed someone by accident.

I still think that the argument that they had to film the darkest film in the history of cinema because the animatronics looked fake falls flat when you look at how good they looked in the first AVP. This film is just such a confusing mess, I don't even know who any of the cast were, I just don't care enough about any of the characters to care about the people playing them.

Predators don’t have dreads, those are sensory organs that bleed just like their flesh. Yautja skulls even have sockets for them, so calling predalien’s “dreads” a sin is inaccurate. Predalien having those growths just means it has inherited extra senses. Honestly though, thats all I can say, great review overall my guy, this movie was a let down aside from the creature-features. 4:32

In the long run, more guns would mean fewer deaths. The colony in Aliens had no weapons and was wiped out. The space marines were far outnumbered and did much better. If the colonists had been armed, they probably could have tamped down the first several aliens and tamped down the infestation.

After all these years, its only NOW that I'm going to google to get a good look at the Alienator (see, used the Right term 😅) and Predator designs in good lighting. On the 'stinger' ending: Sad thing is, I did like how they set up how the "Yutani" part of 'Weyland-Yutani Corporation' became a megacorporation: By 'Backwards Engineering' the tech from the Predator Gun they found (and I would guess probably making big, clunky, Man Portable Plasma Canons for sale to the U.S. Government......except we don't see the Colonial Marines using any cool tech like that hundred(s) of years in the future).
