Right ? Because its a game they always restraine the characters abilities. Wanderer can fly as he want too, for as long as he want. Its proper flying not levitating like in game. Faruzan can actually polyhedron do more that buff it can attack too With Layla we can she how shield are made and really works, a simple thought and it appears by her will alone. Tighnari as a proper sniper and the arrows infusion Cyno electro reflexes, speed and mobility Also he was the only one that was a struggle for wanderer Man I cant wait for the anime ahaha

Honestly, Kaveh turned out to be a lot more "subdued" than I expected him to be during this event. My first impression of him has always been somewhat of a hot-headed yet cheerful guy who feels too much and thinks too little, and while the latter might be "sort" of true, this event also showed that he's very well aware that his habits of prioritzing the needs of others before himself can cause him more misery and that this has already been a long time inner conflict of his, and yet, he still does it anyway. Dude fainted in the desert and he brushed off like it was nothing since he managed to get the desert foxes to safety lmao. Added to that, I also thought Kaveh was just going to be a smarter, Sumeru version of Itto but I'm glad that's not true, since the more I think about his character, the more he just becomes more interesting and complex. Empathy is a double-edged sword as Alhaitham eloquently stated himself, and hopefully, there would be some character development for Kaveh where he learns to balance said sword. So basically, what I'm saying is, I'm spending all my primogems for this man and have him live in my sereniteapot for as long as he wants.

I believe that it's the result of Kaveh crushing down the ground real bad. If someone falls while playing, you would stop and be like "bro are you ok?". Like, this doesn't happen that often in competitions, but you also have to consider that part of these people are friends of Kaveh. So I think they went "huh are you alright for a sec?" And then noticed that there was something wrong as the diadem was oozing some black stuff

im more amazed how they incorporated the character themes inside 0:00 **resisting urge to say the notes used remind me of unwelcome school** 0:09 Oboe playing a bit of Faruzan's theme as she sends her little pyramid thing 0:16 Clarinet playing Hat Guy's demo/boss theme as he swoops in 0:23 Flute playing Faruzan's theme, this time now more prominent as she is more aggressive than before, while also layered over Hat Guy's demo/boss theme played by strings. 0:30 Strings playing Hat Guy's redemption theme as he picks up the pace (damn, since when did a character have so many themes?) 0:36 Clarinet playing Tighnari's demo beat drop theme weaved into Hat guy's theme as he gets revenge for that one time Hat Guy hit him with lightning. Ironically misses his 31+ arrows. There's zero question this is one of the best cutscenes this game has ever made. It reminds me of the Albedo event cutscene if I had to pick one to relate it to. A lot of people are talking about the fighting and the themes being mixed in, which is fair because they're amazing, but I love how it displays the strategies of the characters too. Faruzan confronting Layla with her device head-on, Hat Guy snatching the diadem by flying right through (being his usual showy and rude self while doing it; look at how he treats Faruzan after he breaks her device), and Tighnari and Cyno waiting for the right moments to attack. I also love that the core of this event was Kaveh's idealism and the reason he was able to win wasn't because he fought the others but was trying to give Faruzan her device back by catching it and got swept up in the process.

Yeah, I really hoped in this competition that in the end he won’t move out if he won. I absolutely loved this event, and the reference to the philosophycal views of the characters actually helped me understanding kaveh and alhaitham's relationship better. Said very simply they are like opposites. Kaveh is an empathetic idealistic, he cares too much, and that can result in him trying to help others in spite of hurting himself, the second match was the perfect example, when he helped the foxes at the cost of possibly being unable to win. The greatest risk for him would be to adopt a nihilistic view of the world like Sachin, that's why I was sure he would reject his inheritance and to continue his research. While alhaitham is a bit colder and rational, im not saying he lacks emphaty, but he does put himself first, but luckly his values align with a certain degree of integrity, if not he could have been one of the greatest villains, let's just say he has a more objective view of the world compared to kaveh. That explains why they keep on bickering, but alhaitham, although he doesn't agree, actually has a great understanding of kaveh's character.

I love how Al-Haitham didn't care about the fact that the participants could seriously injure and even kill each other during this competition and didn't create rules to prevent this from happening. It's certainly great that they can dodge attacks, but one wrong move, and one of them would probably be killed (or maybe not one). Also, I don't understand how Wanderer could take the diadem through the Laila's shield.
