Truly amazing how you created that DIY rainfall. You really got me on that rain scene well done. The review of this Soonwell is nice and thanks for all the pre-production you did to create a believable scene. A very versatile light man.

Man! This light that you put on to shoot the scene in the car is cool, it looks cinematic. I was shocked when I saw that you yourself created the rain in this way. Because when I watched that short film, I thought it was raining and it really was. Cool! And if at such a distance this lamp gives such light, it's cool! I really liked it. But how expensive it is! :\

Hello bro so sorry i missed this comment. this light is about 150.00 yes every photographer should have at least two rgb lights. I even use them on red for developing paper in the darkroom. you dont need to spend this much though rgb lights can be got for less than fifty

Love the effort you go to for reviews. That quick look behind the scenes made me appreciate those short clips even more. The way you setup the rain, and the multiple lights just to get the perfect look and feel. I had no idea.

Hey thanks my man, speaking of effort I still haven't caught up to your last two videos. I can't take full credit for that car scene, I saw a cinematographer KZbinr demonstrate how to get cinematic look on the cheap, I forgot his channel name. That video's been up almost a week and I'm going to tell you now because the statute of limitations is over, I wore two different shirts in that scene because I shot it over 2 days and no one noticed the wardrobe difference ! Lol

anothere great review! but I had like the video before in the car the lighting was spot on well made now knowing you did it with these lights is so cool especially with the street light right in the rain, and faking the cop lights programming the colors - great stuff man!
@Raychristofer4 жыл бұрын
Haha hey thanks, you know I've had creative lights for many months now and never really tried to put them to use like this. when this company asked me to see what I could do with this light I took it as a challenge. I want to shoot more short films but it's actually the easy part to shoot them the hard part is coming up with an interesting idea. I might challenge you to give it a try you look like you have some good gear too

This was fun to watch. What I noticed is your well light main shoot with you at the outdoor table with the light and box. Great tones, great resolution.

nice review. I like the breakup scene light setupup and the killer move is to include the rain or water sprinkler.

Hey hello thank you. What I'm learning is we are only limited by our creativity, the trick is coming up with the ideas, executing is the easier part at least for me.

"I've never shot a music video before" - I think we know what is coming next given your recent creative streak! Man I didn't even know you created that whole scene, I thought it was actually raining/storming outside and you were shooting with the camera protected. Now seeing all the production that went into it, even more impressive! Great review and on point as always, can't wait for your next one!
@Raychristofer4 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks Tekno, appreciate it. How come you're so supportive man you're like a true soldier 😎. Actually I had to dumb down the water hose because the first shot I didn't realize was spraying on the camera and it's not waterproof. At the end of the video the light that's supposed to shine through the rear window battery died that's why it looks odd. Trust me I won't be doing a music video anytime soon, I'm terrified because it takes a certain amount of skill and choreography between syncing the music with the singer's mouth especially if you're shooting in slow motion. It's a whole nother discipline

Whats up man thanks so much, getting out my comfort zone. dang youre right I left out battery! crap because I wanted to mention of the three lights I used they ran out of battery and I had to shoot a second day because of them while this battery I havent charged again since I got it. man thats one thing about these reviews its easy to miss something. I will put that info in the description.
