Armando you nail it, the way you explain for anyone to understand how important is knowing how important is the knowledge of the lights in any shoot, that the difference can shows the control and you can create a great Dop.

Lighting is a topic that is often shown in other videos but not explained the way you did in this video. Understanding concepts, theory, reasoning behind lighting is extremely useful and kind of lacking on KZbin. Learned a lot here!

I just subscribed Armando Ferreira , good stuff! Easy to listen to and your straight to the point with some killer tips and info. What's funny is all these people complaining about price of gear. Like you MUST setup you're own set using the cheapest of cheap. Hell no. If your shooting a vid on "setup using budget gear" then sure, but you told us what YOU do for YOUR set. This means you use what YOU want and why not go all out on your setup. I personally loved it because the concepts were the same budget or not and you shared with us some cool ideas that can relate to both budget minded creators and pro's. Plus if every video was on budget gear, then what motivation would you have to get gear for the next level. :)

Man a lot of y’all complain so much, then get mad when people save all their good stuff for patreon or paid courses... Just be glad that he gave the secret sauce behind a dope lighting set up for free... I’m 75% through a lighting course I paid for, and they haven’t broken down a lighting set in this depth yet... Instead of chastising him for showing off his gear, look at it as motivation to step your game up so you can get there too... He didn’t start with a C500... so why hate on the fact that he worked his way up to one? Did y’all talk trash when he had a 70D or Gh5 (Don’t know if he ever had those just an example) Shit he got me ready to sell my 3 pocket 6k cameras & Eva 1 and buy a c500 or maybe it’s little brother...

Guys... You can replicate this exactly lighting using budget equipment, just be creative. The most important thing he made was show us how he designed the lighting, this is the main subject in this video. You absolutely cannot do what he did here without the knowledge, even with the most expensive gears. Thx Armando for the tips, I will try my best to use those ideas with a lot of lamps, cheaper LEDs and etc haha

I've criticized some of your videos in the past but NEVER AGAIN. Here I am editing a wedding video shot during golden hour ( EOS-R / c-log / Hoya ND filter) But for some reason I just can't seem to color correct nor color grade properly even with all the amazing & expensive luts I own that save me every time. And just when I lost all hope the only FREE lut in my inventory came to the rescue - your "Armando c200 LUT". Dropped it down to about 40% and desaturate the orange skin tones and BAM! It just looks amazing now. Thank you so much.

Maybe you should learn how to color grade instead.
