Thanks for your videos Nick. Really appreciate the effort you put in. I especially learnt a lot from your antenna breakdown video.

That opening sound. Reminds me of a Mac boot up sound.

Thanks. I made it on Ableton!

@@nicolasfieldsoundservices Ah Ableton Live is my DAW for music too. Really enjoy it. What is it about the crossover between location sound people and people who play music? It's very high it seems. Perhaps live music mixing is the entry point for most location sound mixers into the engineering/recording side. Also, have you ever tried to use Ableton Live for film sound?

I have heard people say being part of a film crew is sort of like playing in a band. Ableton is great for sound design and composing but it falls short for post production work because it doesn’t support AAF or OMF files natively, nor does it handle poly wav files. So Pro Tools is still my go to for that stuff.

i have a recommendation. i like the content but i cant watch since your eyes keep moving. there are many people like me who cant look at videos if the eyes keep moving to read a script. you may want to consider this in future. they invest in some eye fixing applications to edit videos. just trying to help oout cause i really like the content. it should find more people.
