@@KanishN thank you so much! I really appreciate it! Oh my gosh, I had 8 batteries if I remember correctly. I went through all of them and at the very end I had to grab my Panasonic GH5 to capture the last few shots. I know they have recently updated the R5C with the power savings mode but it’s still not efficient enough. I hope they make it even more efficient in future updates.

Hey! I used the canon rf 15-35 f2.8. I also used the canon ef 70-200 f2.8 is iii. These are the only two lenses I used to shoot this video! Thanks for checking out my video!

Very beautiful shots just one question. Why did you put a drone shot in the middle of the close ups of them outside?

Thanks! Are you referring to the drone shot at 1:42? I just wanted to break up the scene a little I guess. Thanks for checking out the video!

Hey Marius! Thanks for checking out my video. I shot all the footage in clog3. I also color graded all footage in DaVinci resolve. First I apply the canonlog3 to BT709 widedr 65 lut to the footage. Than I added a new node or layer ( if your using Adobe premiere) and applied a custom color grade. Last I applied any effects like grain. Thanks again!

Beautiful looking video and like the color grade. I would love to see your r5c rig, do you use an vari nd? Also how you get such stable footage? Nice job!

Thanks Fred! I used a polar pro Peter McKinnon edition variable ND filter. I also used a tiffin black pro mist filter at the same time. There was a few times where I removed the tiffin black pro mist and used the Peter McKinnon variable ND filter by itself. As for the image stabilization. I shot handheld at 60 fps with the electronic image stabilization on. I tried to make very smooth movements. Than I used image stabilization in in DaVinci Resolve if I needed it. I think it turned out great! Thanks for checking out my video. Let me know if there are any other questions I can answer for you!

how about the battery setup knowing that the r5c eats battery fast? @@yuriorgunov

@@ace_pxl I did have a problem with the camera going through batteries pretty fast. So I ended up buying a canon battery grip. I also saved a lot of battery by clicking the media button when I’m not shooting. When in the media folder, it would stop draining the battery and you can visually see the battery indicator would go up by almost double. They have added a power savings mode in their last update which is very helpful. However, i am now looking to get a different external battery that will last even longer and allow me to use the camera on a gimbal. Unfortunately i am not able to do so with the battery grip.

Hey! Thanks! I used the canon rf 15-35 and the canon ef 70-200 iii. I used the 70-200 majority of the time. Hope this helps! Thanks again!

Nice video. What lenses were used with the canon R5C?

Thanks! I used the canon 70-200mm f2.8 is iii and the canon 15-35mm f2.8 IS. Both were great however, I found myself using 70-200 most of the day. With the 15-35 I felt like I was too close and invading the bride and groom’s space! Thanks for checking out my video!

by any chance was this gimbal or all hand held?
@yuriorgunov
@yuriorgunov 7 ай бұрын
Hey! I shot all this handheld except for the very end where the groomsmen and bridesmaids performed their dances. However, if I was to go back I would use a gimbal for all of it. If you don’t want to use a gimbal I would recommend turning off the digital stabilization in camera and use ONLY the lens stabilization. I used both the lens and the in camera digital stabilization together. I noticed a really bad distortion “wobble” from the digital image stabilization. Because of this, some shots were not usable. So for best results use a gimbal!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Can you please tell us the configuration of the PC with which you edited and if it is as difficult to edit as most of those who have Canon R5C say. Thank you.
@yuriorgunov
@yuriorgunov Жыл бұрын
Hey Cornelius! I do all my editing on a iMac 5k 27" from 2017. It is a 3.8 Ghz Quad-Core Intel Core i5. Radeon Pro 580 8Gb with 40 Gb 2400 MHz DDR4 Ram. The editing can be aggrevating but not the worst. I can play the footage when editing however, it will stutter pretty frequently. I wish i had the ability to record in ProRes as I did with my Ninja V paired with my Panasonic Gh5. That was super smooth and easy to edit! Thanks for checking out my video!
