That looks amazing. Sometimes people lean a little too hard into the film look and it kind of becomes a caricature of what they think film looks like. Or they film it really slick with a super gritty 16mm look which looks cool but doesn’t quite fit.

XH2s is totally a powerhouse. Have you seen footage with the DZO Film Lenses with a Metabones Speedboster 0.71? It is trully impressive. Amazing work bro!

Great work! Did you use the Sirui anamorphics on this? You’ve really convinced me about this camera. It’s a true powerhouse, but is only as good as you friend! Awesome work.

Thanks man means alot 🙏 Yes I did use the Sirui 50mm 1.33x anamorphic on this one. It's certainly a great lens! Just wish it had more anamorphic properties.

If you don’t mind me asking what settings do you use? In terms of your internal sharping and NR in the Xh2s?

@gregorystarke Yeah no worries. My sharpness is set to -4. However, sometimes I do have it at 0 and my NR is set to 0

Yes absolutely. You would just have to disable the Grain,halation and dust nodes to still keep the tones of the look but while having a clean full resolution picture at the end.

Yeah, this was edited in Davinci Resolve 19 Studio beta. However, you can do it in older versions of Resolve like 18
