I see why they did away with the first scene. It would have given too much away about Damian too early. I think the church scene was perfect (no bias) because there were always these types of moments in the Rocky movies. I don't remember seeing the Canelo scene.

Yes, but Tommy got brainwashed because he was still too young to understand what business were about. He wanted the gold because Duke appeared out of no where. Dame didn't have any appreciation towards Adonis. He was mature and used him from the begining.

not only should the church scene been kept in, but it would’ve added some depth to duke. him being the coach and all, cuz I imagine it’s hard to follow up after Stallone so this moment between them would’ve added more depth for duke instead of feeling like “ just a coach” which is the vibe I got with him in it. he was just there etc

In one of the trailers, there’s a scene with Amara and Bianca in the studio and it appears to be after Adonis and Bianca had their blow up and I REALLY wanted to see that in full especially because there’s not a lot of scenes w Bianca and Amara and I wish there had been because Bianca was losing her hearing and she has a baby girl who can’t hear, and I just love the little clips of them together, learning from each other ❤
