I can wear alpaca either. Just knitting with it make my hands itch. On Christmas day all of my husband's relatives travel to our house for a wonderful Christmas meal. My husband usually cooks all the meats and I do the side dishes. There are a few foods that his family will bring. This year we are not doing the turkey, ham, etc like we usually do. My husband usually gets up at 4am to start the turkey and then he is stressed out and crabby the rest of the day. This year for Thanksgiving he made sourdough pizzas and his family came and really enjoyed them. We also got a chicken pot pie from Sam's that was surprisingly good. We joked with his family about doing the same for Christmas and they all said they'd like that. So, the plan for Christmas dinner this year is: two chicken pot pies, 6 homemade sourdough pizzas, a cheese and crackers tray, hot wassel, tea, cheesecake, brownies, and whatever his extended family bring. Hopefully the more simple menu will keep my husband from feeling so stressed out. As for presents, we usually let the kids open their presents on Christmas Eve. Christmas Day is a bit hectic with cooking, last minute cleaning, and guests. Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!

Christmas, this is going to be sad one because of the family members we have lost. I have spent a lot of time making small crochet gifts for family, and this has helped to keep my spirits high. Unfortunately my granddaughter finished her shopping early and we have yet to find where she hid them. Maybe they will turn up by Easter. We are planning to try our best to enjoy our time together. I love watching Polar Express. Tom Hanks is the best.

I love watching the childrens clasics The Year Without a Santa Clause, Rudolf The Red Nosed Reindeer, Santa Clause is coming to town, Nester the long eared Donkey, The Santa Clause Movies, Home Alone the first one. My family gets together on Christmas for Dinner and a good visit, getting kinda small, just me and my sister and our kids these days, but such is life. Going to be difficult this year as my Dad is gone and my daughter can't come home this year. But we'll get through, Good memories and good food and company. I think the thing that MAKES your Elle sweater is the string hanging off the sleeves😂😂. It's the Cinnamon trademark, right? Seriously, that sweater is at the very top of my must-make list. The patterning you added to the hem and sleeves makes such a huge difference and makes it look so classy. I don't listen to Christmas music because I just don't have the spirit anymore. I recognize the day for what it represents and always wish Jesus a happy birthday and get gifts for my family but my mama was who made the day so special and I lost her in 2016 so just can't find the joy anymore. My daughter is grown, my sister and the rest of my blood kin live in Florida while I am in Alabama so it's just a day where I have to have a bunch of my husband's family in my space and try to be sociable. I'm really not a grump, I just prefer my space and my daily routine.

Our family does celebrate Christmas. We are all music ministers and spend a lot of time there! I also decorate all three spaces that we use for masses. My favorite Christmas movie has to be Elf. We love all Christmas movies, tho, and try to see them all beforehand. I can't pick a favorite Christmas song or album because I love them all!!! It is just me and my adult daughter and neither of us enjoy opening gifts so around November we talk about what we might like and I shop accordingly. No wrapping and no stress. My all-time favorites to watch were Emmet Otter’s Jug Band Christmas and Perry Como’s Christmas. Wow! I’m telling my age now! 😊. We also had Red Beans and Rice and also Oyster Stew instead of “traditional” holiday foods. We had those foods for Thanksgiving. We’ve lost many family members over the past 3 years, including my husband and mom. Christmas is different for me now. Now it’s all for my kids and grandkids. I like watching Christmas With the Kranks every year. I like Hard Candy Christmas. It helped me through a few rough Christmases. I start watching Christmas movies and listening to Christmas music after Thanksgiving. We usually open gifts Christmas Eve since my son is grown. That gives us all day Christmas to visit family, have a good dinner and enjoy our Christmas gifts. I like when you call a business like your doctor's office or the pharmacy and end your conversation with "I hope you have a very Merry Christmas!" They sound so pleased and surprised lol. I was in WalMart yesterday and it was crowded!!! But a one point there was this lady that was going up and down to my left and right, so I gave her the grand bow giving her the right away and she laughed and when I said Merry Christmas she looked so surprised LOL Like the people at the register, I said Thank you so much! and she looked so confused LOL I love it!! Yes, yes I am out there causing chaos 🤣😂🤣😂 I like Bing Crosby's Christmas album. Silent Night are some of my favorite Christmas tunes. Movies......hummm.....I like Cary Grant in The Bishops Wife, White Christmas and the song, "I am dreaming of a white Christmas" At 70 1/2 , I have seen so many good Christmas movies I can't remember them all. I like The Christmas Train (I think that is what it is called), it is animated. We usually don't have Christmas dinner (this year we are going to) because when the grandkids were young the were with their dad. He would pick them up about 10:00 am and bring them back the next day. So our tradition is Christmas breakfast with hot peaches, pancakes, hash browns, scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon. Oh and toast with jelly if anyone wants any. We start cooking right after opening presents. This year it will just be my son, my daughter, and my youngest grandson Nick. Oh and Oliver the dog, Minicoon my cat, Dot, Totoro, Spitfire, Leonard, and SuSuAtari, my daughter's cats. And the stray cats (5 I think) outside. Jenn I'm with you I prep for Christmas starting in July so I'm not stressing about finding gifts and having money but I do wrap last minute my husband wraps as the gifts come in and he does most of it....the only thing I stress about is cookie baking.....I cookie bake and gift Christmas cookies to my neighbors and a few family and work and I bake 5-6 kinds and a total of about 600-700.....I love ur daughters ideas of gift boxes merry Christmas

My favorite Christmas movie is A Christmas Story. I watch it every year and laugh like I've never seen it before :) I am really not a fan of Christmas music, years of working retail killed that for me a while back. But I do enjoy The 12 Pains of Christmas by Bob Rivers.
