I love your snood. We all need time to relax and enjoy life. I'm distressing from all the steady crocheting from market events. I'm still crocheting but, more leisurely. 😊 Wishing you a beautiful blessed day/night 🙏🏻💝

Upon first glance, I thought the ribbing on the mitten was a design feature, so kudos to you for your 'elephant thumb' mistake. It ended up turning out great! I love the hooded cowl, too! You look like a snow princess, Jen! Take time for yourself. I haven't crocheted in weeks and it's okay. Self-care is not selfish, it's self-love! You are loved and we'll be here whenever you'd like to put out content! 🥰

I love the mitten story! I used to play with Legos all the time, just cause. I think it is because it engages your mind like a puzzle, but no pressure because you can build whatever comes into your mind. Hope you are having a wonderful day hon. See ya tomorrow

I thought the line in the mitten was a design feature. It looks fine and if you'd hushed I'd not have known the difference. Can I just say this Jennifer? Your viewers, at least the majority of us, watch you for you. The projects you make, yarn you show, etc are part of it, sure, but it's your personality, your "realness" and the fact that you're just one of us, is what brings us back. If you need downtime, we get it. If you're down, we've been there. If you don't feel like making anything, it's cool. Nobody here expects you to be super woman except you. You don't need to put so much stress on yourself, we're here regardless. Give yourself grace, we will. Hugs

GM Jen ☕️☕️, I had snow ❄️ in northern SC that lasted a day, so nice to see the change and I’m enjoying the cold weather. Spring here starts in February and I’m so not looking forward to that heat of summer. Lovely hood and mittens ❣️ I’m crocheting a CAL blanket and I’m getting bored with it, too long of a project.

We used to have whatever nights. The kids would ask, "What's for dinner"? I would say "Whatever" meaning whatever you wanted to make for yourself. Leftovers, or whatever you can find in the fridge to eat. LOL My kids, (adults now) still talk about it.

As a society we are pushed to produce and are made to think that's our value. Thus we push ourselves and we get burn out. Stop it! Relax, do things for you. Your good on the productive line, you are valuable, and very productive. We love you. if you put out a piece and day or one a week. Slow down enjoy yourself.

I can sympathize with your growing weed of a son. I had one of those as well! He stopped at 6’3” and size 13 1/2 shoes. After his cancer treatments were done he was way skinny and we practically forced food down him, he married and inhaled food until he got pot belly!! Now he needs some exercise!

I've got to where I hate cooking. My hubby is in the hospital, and he's been doing the cooking every day. Cause, I was starting supper at 5 or 6 and eating at 8 or 9. So, brother-in-law and I are eating Heat up pizza, hot dogs, or grilled cheese and soup. Lots of junk food. LOL.

Hi Jennifer I just wanted to say thank you so much for your videos on being burnout and some things I can do to get out of it. Last two months I made two kids scarfs before their birthdays so I put a lot of pressure on myself th finished them on time and I did finished them. I need to make one more kid scarf and I just bring myself to worrk on it. So with your advice about working on smaller projects is helping me. I have a question for you and if you don't have a answer for my question or if you don't want to answer it it's ok maybe one of the cinnamon buns can help. My question is, How long should I wait by not working on the scarf before I get to the point that I don't want to finish the scarf ever again? This is my burnout on crocheting and I started crocheting in my early 20's and I will be 55 years old this year in April . I really want to finish this scarf but all the pressure I put myself in I just don't want to wait to long and never want to finish it.

When i feel like that, i often just ditch the project altogether. Right now im experiencing the same kind of thing. I dont want to touch the blanket i started. And actually dreading it. So i made a hat. Because i havent picked up a hook in days. And i still dont want to even look at that blanket.

I think the majority of women take on too much and don’t practice self care. Typically we have indoor jobs so out Vitamin D levels are causing symptoms like anxiety, irritability, depression, muscle pain, loss of bone density, hair loss, constipation, weight gain, fatigue and tiredness to name a few. I thought you looked beautiful in your pink snood and mittens! Always take time for yourself! ❤
