@adamgray1753
@adamgray1753 5 жыл бұрын
Yep! After initially saying, "Yes." on camera I would wait for the family to leave. I would watch them go back into their apparently soon-to-implode house. Then I would go our various neighbors for help. If they want to help get rid of this property-value-crashing family then we would work as a team.

I'm honestly surprised child protective services haven't stepped in. Someone I know just lost both her girls because she hasn't made repairs to her house in the past five years. And for this family, it's like the other couple said, if they haven't fixed the simple things, there's no way they've replaced the important stuff. Water heater, roof, etc.

I have actually walked into a carpet store and asked for their sample squares, but it was for a small school and we were setting up individual reading nooks for the kids (we set a beanbag chair on top of each sample square, along with a small bookshelf to hold six to ten books). We also purchased a large piece of carpet for one of the classrooms. The salesman didn't think it was weird, at all, but we did also purchase a huge piece of carpet (he gave us the 12 sample squares for free) on top of asking for the sample squares. This couple was being just plain rude.

Furniture actually is a requirement if you have children. CPS could be called on them and they'd lose their kids for not having places to sit or sleep. I have a cousin going through a similar situation right now. Furniture is not required to sell the house but if you have furniture and the house is kept tidy it make it a lot more appealing to potential buyers as the realtor tries to show them the house. It helps give them idea of they want it to look. People are more often overwhelmed when viewing an empty house. But mostly they have kids so they need furniture...pretty sure there are laws on that.

This is a totally legit 'WTFLIP?!!!' experience. I've worked construction and carpeting/flooring and this makes ME wanna punch them for being such cheap bastards. I laughed so damn loud when I saw him patch up the carpet and borrow the furniture!! That neighbor's look tho!! Lmao!! I was thinking, it's a bad idea to let people borrow furniture, but then I realized these people are so cheap that even bedbugs won't go there. That's bad!

The "shower head" bruh, you end up using more water bc it has to fill up the bottle, so instead of going to any walmart and get a new shower head for what $35, they're gonna buy a soda bottle and rack up their water bill instead. Reeeaaaalllllll smart
