@@defenderoftruth3212 based on what you're saying, all religious texts have been written by the hands of men, so therefore can any religious belief be accepted as gods word? Based on what you've said, athiesm could be the truth. We live then we die with no consequences to the afterlife. But, just because God himself didn't pen the books does not mean that god didn't work through man and use man to write down his meanings. Hence why we have holy religious texts. So the question then becomes that of which book is Gods word and which aren't. And that can only be found through reading the texts themselves, using archeology to support it and understanding the coherence in the meanings of the writing's themselves. This is where thy holy bible shines. Because it is a book of multiple books that have been highly criticised for centuries, and yet it is able to continually defend itself with coherent responses. The quran is only now going through criticism and the standard islamic narrative is showing holes, many holes are being exposed. Even yasir qadhi admitted so when your do a deep dive. These problems won't go away unless coherent answers can be given, but there are none. It is a big dilemma for islam.

If you are bilingual, or trilingual, you know first hand, how it is impossible to translate some things from one culture and language, into another. When we travel, we all have those experiences of cultural misunderstanding (which we joke about later). In the 300s, 400s & 500s, political regions, languages and cultures on the edge of two great powers, were mutating. Along with those mutations, surely things were "lost in translation" (to quote the title of a famous movie). I disagree with Christians who are eager to criticize early Islam during these days of study of comparative linguistics; I believe that Arab language and culture are and must remain a precious gem of human history, and continue to thrive. I do not see that text analysis of Koranic literature as 'destroying faith'. It only invites to purify and see how God intervenes in our human history, and walks with us all. I do not rejoice when I read message of Christians posting how they "can't wait for Muslim to leave Islam". That kind of snarky remark rather angers me. Finding out, through comparative linguistics, through the study of all historical documents at our disposal, how the Koran as we know it today, came to be, can only enrich Arab history and culture. So many centuries, Arab culture carried and kept alive knowledge; for a time, elements of Arab history have been clouded. These studies will likely reveal that two groups of people revered Jesus; one sees him as part of a 'Trinity'; one sees him as a great and holy man and does not believe in 'Trinity'. So many are frantic to claim one group is right, the other wrong; I think that BOTH groups are slowly finding and correcting the inaccuracies of human imperfection; I think that BOTH groups can use textual analysis to help put aside mistakes; what will remain? Two distinct ways of conceiving of God, but only one way to see God's love. It doesn't matter that one group holds onto 'Trinity' and the other group see Jesus as Messenger of One God; that does not matter; was matters ? Love, honesty, patience, forgiveness, kindness, long-suffering, nobility, respecting all humans, whether man, woman, boy or girl. Love is what matters. I don't care whose 'dogma' is the 'winner' of the argument; I don't care if historians and linguists are able to show that Mohammad was a merchant, a tribesman, a warrior who carried around writings in Arabic which originally were from Arameic lectionaries; it doesn't matter; what matters, is, that we all are able to look at the history honestly, and after we have done that, what matters is that we all chose Love, Honesty, Patience, Kindness, Forgiveness, Humility, Long-Suffering, Nobility, Respecting and protecting all humans being, whether they be man, woman, boy or girl. That is the greatest; Love is the greatest. Peace.

One special church in London was started by an exmuslim. He has 24000 per week. The American and African churches have the largest single sittings in stadium type churches. The you have Dr Joseph Prince in Singapore. He has 10,000.00 plus in his weekly services. These do not include yhe Internet attendance for live sermons. Lastly I recommend you look at the Pew research statistics on Christian and Islamic growth. Christianity 2.38 billion Islam 1.8 billion Christianity is very quiet about it continous growth. Rob Christian was bringing up some of the traditions of Islam there about the supposed prophet, that state his real name was Qatham, Ibn Abd Al-Lat. Other traditions have the father called Abdullah (although the Allah of this designation was not Mohanned's Allah, but the leading god of the Kaaba, so called "theGod", but maybe the moon god, Mohammed refashioning Allah into a monotheist entity if one accepts the narrative.) However, variations of the divine conception, violent death and bodily resurrection can easily be found in Greek mythology. The Greeks, Seleucids and Ptolemies, occupied Palestine for circa 300 years before the Romans replaced them as an occupying power. There's your problem though, the Quran misrrepresents Jesus of the Bible. That might seem OK to us, but one can't alter God's words so to speak if one has "fear of God", those Quranic editors of old will be in trouble. Anything from the current Torah and Gospels that alligns with the Quran would be closer to both the original Scriptures that included the one received by Jesus, wether it be in the original language it was revealed, translations or interpretations. The message of Revelation from our Creator is for mankind that includes the Jews and Christians. Just as previous Scriptures, Revelation includes warning mankind of their errors.

If it was the same God, Muhammad would have kept the commandments found in Exodus 20. He broke ALL of them and he encouraged his followers to do the same. Muhammad followed a god of demonic origin.
