Mansur Ahmed, a famous Muslim scholar, claims that Islam has a textual tradition dating back to 652 AD, but he could not produce it. It was an empty claim and wishful thinking. Ahmed claims there is a manuscript that is 97% complete in the first century of Islam, but that is a lie. There are 63 fragments that are put together to make up 96% of one Qur'an. 20 have no conclusive dating, 9 are dated in the second century of Islam, and 34 have had no research done on them rendering themselves an irrelevant inclusion of the claim. There is no real manuscript, simply random jigsaw pieces that he has put together and claimed to be one manuscript. Just like in the Quran, the concept of God being one is there but the word 'Tawhid' is not mentioned in the Quran. And by the way, the actual meaning of Tawhid is not one! Vellum parchment didn't exist for Christians so early writings were on papyrus that disintegrated within 100 years or so VS Islam which had Parchment and had Islam as a State religion and controlled ALL the cities that Uthman apparently sent a copy of the Koran to from Uthmans time until Today ( except for Jerusalem) 2. Christian writings and indeed Christians themselves were persecuted but Islam and Muslims were not so it was simple for Islamic scriptures to be preserved. It would seem that the most reasonable analysis is that these "perfectly preserved" copies never existed. Somebody centuries later made up stories to pretend they did because they needed to support the claim that Allah had preserved them.

Uthman said to the three Quraishi men: "In case you disagree with Zaid bin Thabit on any point in the Qur'an then write it in the dialect of Quraish as the Qur'an was revealed in their tongue." They did so, and when they had written many copies, Uthman returned the original manuscripts to Hafsa. Uthman sent to every Muslim province one copy of what they had copied and ordered that all the Qur'anic materials whether written in fragmentary manuscripts or whole copies, be burnt. (Sahih Bukhari 6.510) You will note that this Hadith says there were differences in the recitation of the Qur'an causing great problems which throws out your argument for perfect oral tradition. Then you want to say there was already a Quran when the Hadith says you didn’t. Abu Bakr said, "By Allah, it is (really) a good thing. So, I kept on arguing with him about it till Allah opened my bosom for that which He had opened the bosoms of Abu Bakr and Umar. So, I started locating Qur'anic material and collecting it from parchments, scapula, leaf-stalks of date palms and from the memories of men (who knew it by heart). Then the last thing you can’t explain is why, of the 30+ Qurans you have today, why isn’t even 2 identical? They all have thousands of textual variants between them and no way to know which one is closest to the original. It was so bad that the Hafs Quran that was written 200yrs after Mohammed was canonised less than 100yrs ago. There are so many holes in the standard Islamic narrative that I could go on for hours.

@@generaljg4373 Old covenant events there, christians follow the new covenant - "the law was given by Moses, grace and truth came through the Son" John 1 paraphrase. If "Mohammed" was a true prophet and at all significant spiritually, then seeing as the Quran acknowledges that Jesus is the Messiah, and that the injil is protected and revelation from Allah (e.g. Q 5.47) and was in his hands at the time, then "Mohammed" should be adding to revelation in a way that does not sink back into the most undeveloped forms. Yet Mohammed is preoccupied with things like people not being able to pray unless they ritually wash first, is not loving his neighbour as himself in a lot of surahs, and certainly not loving his enemies, and does not repeat the important salvation message of the injil and epistles, but sinks back into a legalism that he himself did not obey.

In Christianity, we still have the Torah, the Psalms, God's Law (the Commandments), the teachings of the OT prophets, etc which are all fulfilled in Jesus Christ as the Messiah, and Him providing Salvation "By His Grace, Undeserved Mercy and Love" to save us from the penalty of sins which all humans deserve, without exceptions. The Bible says that Jesus is the visible image of the invisible God (the Father) and only He (Jesus) knows who the Father is, because Jesus always existed with Him from Eternity past to Eternity future - meaning Forever. It's about being reconciled with God in personal and individual loving relationship with Him through Jesus Christ, and repentance from sins. Doing good works are rewarded, we are not saved by them. The first Pfander film I came across was in 2017, a longer production (2 hours maybe), done in Japan (I think). Because of my theology degree and my university's 1990s "walk-on-eggshells" approach to Islam, and from my many years of drinking gallons of coffee with my Muslim friends, it took less than a minute for my ears to know that what was coming out of your mouth was not what I was used to hearing. When something really, really gets our attention, we do a 'double take'; I at times will say, aloud "Okay, here we go", as if to audibly tell myself to pay attention, as something important to me is happening. ...I had been looking, for so long, for exegesis of Islam, exegesis comparable to that which we apply to the O.T. & N.T. After completing my degree in theology, I can't tell you the number of videos I clicked on through the years; from 2007 to 2017. During my free time, I must have clicked on a dozen videos every summer, looking for true exegesis of Islam. I seemed to always happen on simple presentations of the Standard Narrative and after only seconds, I'd close the tab. Seconds is all it would take me to decide a video was going to be a non-exegesis (walk-on-eggshells) kind of video. That first Pfander film I clicked on, it was almost instantaneous: I knew I was hearing real Koranic exegesis and true holding to account. I was so taken aback! I could not believe my ears. A bolt of lightning. In listening to this exchange with Brother Al Fadi, and seeing once again the Speakers' Corner debate, it's just phenomenal. Le Lion de Londre. And now, Hatun, La Lionne de Londre. ...But, Jay, ya gotta be fair: first year exegesis student in Christian seminaries, who have a simple faith, they also go through the exegetical shock. But he forgets translations of the Quran are also not word for the word the same - Pickthal, Sahih International, and many other translations of the Quran into English all vary. Of course the Bible and Quran both have manuscripts variations, but with the Bible we don't make the claim it is "Yahweh's words", yet the Quran makes this unrealistic claim, so the fact the Quran has variants shows it's human origins.

You have danced around the subject for years, without focusing on it. Many topics you have addressed exhaustively are trivial in comparison. And, discuss any changes since then, perhaps 1936? Also, not just the textual changes over the centuries, what about division of the text into verses, and numbering? Those are changes, too.

All what you are doing in this series of episode is a superb work. I believe the information you already provided by itself is more than enough, for someone who seek to know the truth, that he/she won’t find that truth in the Quran! But, if it is necessary to add to your point, in addition to these facts you are presenting (perhaps even more importantly so (only because it is from the word of God), what all Muslim brothers and sisters need to know and be aware in order to evaluate upon what kind of message their faith is laid, it is what God said in Deuteronomy 19: 15. Since it is God, Himself Who said “One witness is never enough to convict someone of a crime, offense, or sin he may have committed. cases must be settled based on the testimony of two or three witnesses”. Even if Muhammad’s existence were to be validated and even if Quran was found to be complete, this is another indisputable proof for his messages not to be from the God who created the heavens, the earth, the sea, and everything within them! That is because, of all God’s messengers whose names are mentioned in the Bible(the prophets and the apostles) not only he is out side that root line of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, but while the messages of all of them is pointing and referring to one God and delivering in unitty of His ultimate and final goal which He is to accomplish in and through one Man Christ Jesus, Mohammad's message is naming and referring to unknown and foreign name of God, and his message is also entirely different from the messages of all the prophets and the apostles! You have to keep in mind however that during the 7th, 8th etc centuries they probably didn't think of it the same way. Islam was smaller and less importance was put on the Quran, no claims of perfect preservation, there are more variant texts until they were canonized much later, etc. If you study mss of other books, we don't have the original in most cases, only copies of copies of copies. It is unfortunate that we do not have any of the earliest ones, but historically one would not necessarily expect them to exist. al-Bukhari is also very important, but the first complete mss come many centuries after the originals.

According to Jay Smith is that he believed that there is really ONE ORIGINAL GOSPEL. Since he cannot find it, he assumed that the gospel of John is already that book. But his is only mere assumption. He failed to make any clear evidence to show that his assumption is correct. Jay, remember that radiocarbon dating of mss is not reliable. Sometimes we have mss that are exactly dated and the carbon dates are way off. You want to you paleography. For the Birmingham mss, many experts (Saud al-Sarhan, Director of Center for Research and Islamic Studies in Riyadh, Süleyman Berk of the faculty of Islamic studies at Yalova University, François Déroche of the Collège de France, Mustafa Shah, Senior Lecturer in Islamic Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies, Marijn van Putten) date it to later (post-Uthmanic) based on the style - grammatical marks and verse separators, chapter separators and dotted verse endings. There is a strong similarity between the script of the Birmingham leaves and those of a number of Hijazi Qurans in the Turkish and Islamic Arts Museum. Marijn van Putten has published work on idiosyncratic orthography common to all early manuscripts of the Uthmanic text type has stated and demonstrated with examples that due to a number of these same idiosyncratic spellings present in the Birmingham mss, it is "clearly a descendant of the Uthmanic text type" and that it is "impossible" that it is a pre-Uthmanic copy.

(２) الاختبار الثاني - لقد قام علماء الطب النوراليجى بامتحانات مماثلة لاختبار اذكى طلبة الجامعات العليا حيث إجلسوهم فى غرفة كبيرة ولكنهم منفصلين عن بعض بعدة أمتار. قام المختبر بالتكلم مع الطالب رقم واحد لمدة دقيقة عن موضوع معين. ثم طلب منه ان يذهب للطالب رقم اثنين ليخبره بنفس الكلام، على ان الطالب رقم اثنين يخبر الطالب رقم ثلاثة بنفس الكلام، وهكذا رقم ثلاثة يخبر رقم أربعة. وفى نهاية المطاف طلب من الطالب الاخير ان يكتب ما سمعه من الطالب السابق له. النتيجة أظهرت ان العقل البشري لا يمكنه بان ينقل اخبار دقيقة تصله من عقل اخر ثم من عقل سابق ثم من عقل اسبق. اخيرا - تجربة ظريفة حقا - لو انت تستقل قطار للسفر من بلد الي بلد قم بسرد قصة طريفة بالهمس في أذن الشخص الجالس بالقرب منك واطلب منه ان يهمس بها في أذن شخص اخر، ثم الشخص الاخر يقولها لاخر، ثم لاخر، فالي اخر عربة في القطار. والان عليك ان تذهب الي اخر شخص وصلته القصة واطلب منه ان يخبرك بها. (سوف تسمع العجب). مثال عملي ثابت :- انت ترجو ان جهاز الحاسوب الخاص بك لن يخرب وبان شرائح الذاكرة لن تتوقف عن العمل وبان كل ما تحاول كتابته سوف يظهر على الشاشة بالضبط كما اراد عقلك وإصبعك أن يكون. ولكن حتى الحاسوب يسقط ويحصل له انهيار فى الذاكرة وتضيع منك القصة التى كتبتها. ثانيا - العقل تتضاءل قدراته بحسب سن الانسان وحالته الصحية: الانسان يعتريه الالصايمر، والبايبولر، وانفصام الشخصية. جسده يصاب بمرض فيؤثر على حالته النفسية بالهبوط او الاستكبار. حينئذ يبدا في التخبط فيظن ان الأشياء الغير موجودة انها حقيقة او يتخيل له اشياء. المعروف ان الإنسان يبدأ في خربطة الاسماء، حتى اسماء اقرب الناس اليه وينسي من هم، ويفقد مفتاح بيته وسيارته لانه نسي اين وضعها. ثالثا - من التواتر الثابت استحالته هو تنسيب محمد لابراهيم:- محاولة تنسيب اصل محمد لابونا ابراهيم بالتوتر المستخدم ما هي الا اكذوبة بدون حياء… لان سلسلة الاسماء لا اصل لها او مرجعية فى اي مواثيق سجلات حكومية عربية حيث لم يكن هناك حكومة دولة مركزية ذات سلطة وحضارة مثل الممالك المعروفة بثوابت تاريخية مثل السومرية و البابلية والفرعونية واليهودية اليونانية والرومانية الزعم ان القران والاحاديث اتو البنا بتواتر موثق، فهو زعم كاذب موثق بالاستحالة من أساسه.

How I earnestly wish that there is now an ORIGINAL ARAMAIC GOSPEL because I am dying inside to read it. I hope there is a translation in English. It's hard to read it in its original form in Aramaic. I don't know that language. I think Aramaic is much harder to read than Arabic. I believe that this Gospel is a book of spiritual guidance from God. Unlike the 4 make-believe gospels, their contents are purely biographies of Prophet jESUs (pbuh) but with a huge hole in the accounts of his life covering the primetime of his age. From what museum or library can we find the original ARAMAIC GOSPEL? Is there any original manuscript for it? The Amazing Historical Accuracy of the Bible The evidence shows that the four Gospels were written in a relatively short time after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Acts 28:30-31 KJV) The inference is that Acts was written while Paul was still alive, seeing that his death is not recorded. Luke’s Gospel Was Written Earlier than Acts Gospel of Mark was written before Luke. If this is the case, then we are somewhere in the fifties of the first century when this book was composed. According to the unanimous testimony of the early church, Matthew was the first gospel written.The church father Eusebius places the date of Matthew’s gospel in A.D. 41. The Gospel of John is usually assumed to have been the last of the four gospels composed. John testified that he was an eyewitness to the events that he recorded. He said:Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. (John 20:30-31 ESV) There is also internal evidence that John himself wrote before A.D. 70. We read the following description of Jerusalem in the fifth chapter of John: Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool called Bethesda in Aramaic, which has five covered walkways. (John 5:2 NET) John describes the sheep gate as still standing at the time he wrote. He could not have made this statement after A.D. 70-there was no sheep gate. The sheep gate was destroyed in the year A.D. 70, along with the rest of the city of Jerusalem.

John however does record Peter's death, showing that had the other gospels been written afterwards, they would have no reason to omit this, since John clearly did not

I mean, Acts may as well be the Adventures of Peter and Paul, to omit their respective deaths if it had been written after them would be like Homer writing The Iliad after the end of the war and death of Achilleus (yes I know the poem is part of the Epic Cycle and another now lost poem recounted what happens after The Iliad, but you get my meaning)...

@@davidchase1439 You cannot prove it was written before the time of prophet muhammad (saw). Carbon dating of the birmingham manuscript dates from the prophet's birth to about a decade after his death. But obviously, anything you can twist to try and use against Islam, you will.

David Chase Quran was revealed in seven Ahraf (reading style). The present day Quran is the same as when it was revealed 1400 years ago. The Quran is codified by people who knew the prophet and has been ordered by the prophet himself to write down verses of the Quran. Quran is very different from the Bible, the Quran claims itself as a revelation from God something that the Bible cannot claim because nowhere in the Bible it claims as a revelation from God.
