@@ians4858 just opinions of course, but I agree that they've only gotten better. BSN is probably my favorite album by them, actually, but they've shifted in such a way that it's hard to call that their peak, because they're not really making that sort of music anymore. Like, if every album after BSN was trying to approximate that, and failing, I would agree. But they haven't tried really to get to that place again. Maybe Descensus, but even that album was amazing in a whole other way. I dunno. I love them more now than ever before, hiatus or not, break up or not.

It’s ridiculous but this is some of Circa’s most powerful, melancholic and haunting music. Now we have the power of hindsight but it feels like a sombre goodbye… I genuinely still believe they will patch things up one day and release one of the greatest records of all time.

I have this feeling that the Two Dreams album release will actually be all of these live recordings.....wouldn't that be sick? We already have the separate EP releases so it would make more sense to actually have something "new" on this new release.

These Two Dreams songs are so sombre, even more so performed in this waning winter light. If it's true that these songs did capture something about Anthony's divorce they also seem to capture something about the end of Circa - a melancholy and a resignation. It's beautiful but sad.
