Anthony sounds noticeably on point here. Most live clips he's kinda off, but here he sounds the same if not better than the record.
@thedeparture66610 жыл бұрын
Probably 'cause studio-like sessions are more "refined" than the pressures n live performances. This vid is superb by the way.
@alphabet22222210 жыл бұрын
i think its because he wears himself out alot on stage and the out-of-breath-ness causes him to be a little flatter
@uwotm8 жыл бұрын
+Jimothy Meyers its because in this mix there is clearly auto-tune being used to correct his pitch mistakes.
@posthardcoresinger7 жыл бұрын
He's wearing headphones, he can probably hear himself to self-correct immediately.
@fergar02065 жыл бұрын
No auto-tune, it's just level corrected but that doesn't affect pitch. Also they usually have IEM's on stage so they can check themselves. It's probably because most stage performances come during tours and over a period of a month of two of singing the way he does every night his voice starts to go, also not having to jump around a stage helps.

Only other band that ever came close to this ethereal kinda floating sound, was some of the older Emarosa stuff, off their self-titled album. Glass Arrows 🏹 is a masterfully written song for the genre. Easily a top 20 song.

It must have been so hard to hold composure knowing you are absolutely killing it - those intertwining guitar riffs are perfection - Bass and Drums so tight, not a note out of place.... That Bass lead in at 2:04 - so Good, frustratingly better than the album version - shame its not better audio quality on the upload.

@billthesaint39 жыл бұрын
+João Lucas Da Mota Rodrigues Classically trained vocalist, here: Anthony Green is a master of using his "false chords," which is sort of like "belting" except that it uses your head voice (also known as nasally or "falsetto") to channel the "scream" instead of your throat (which is how you fuck up your voice). In other words, there is a right way to scream and a wrong way and A.G. does it the right way.
@JMauro-ut6ix Жыл бұрын
@mikeshinoda @LinkinPark If there is another benefit concert or anniversary tour in the future, Anthony Green should be considered, first for a jam session and see how it goes. He has splendid vocal technique, vocal range, a very particular voice, incredible talent, stage presence and charisma.
