No auto-tune, it's just level corrected but that doesn't affect pitch. Also they usually have IEM's on stage so they can check themselves. It's probably because most stage performances come during tours and over a period of a month of two of singing the way he does every night his voice starts to go, also not having to jump around a stage helps.

Only other band that ever came close to this ethereal kinda floating sound, was some of the older Emarosa stuff, off their self-titled album. Glass Arrows 🏹 is a masterfully written song for the genre. Easily a top 20 song.

That Bass lead in at 2:04 - so Good, frustratingly better than the album version - shame its not better audio quality on the upload.

In other words, there is a right way to scream and a wrong way and A.G. does it the right way.
