The first Circa song I ever heard back in August of 2019. Listening to Dance Gavin Dance on Spotify then this came up, it was a millisecond from getting skipped and I’m so glad I didn’t. I love them now. TL/DR: Thank you Spotify, thank you CS.

I actually ran into anthony green behind a venue warming up in north carolina. He played a 3 song acoustic set for us of songs I have yet to hear again then let us know he was going to watch football before the show. super kind and real guy didn't mind a bit we were there. circa 2009

Took me 12 years of listening to this song to notice it's unconventional approach to song structures, opening with a chorus, then it's first and final verse, 2nd chorus, into a bridge/interlude, which to me has the feeling of having two distinct sections, followed by a third and final verse. The second chorus moving into the bridge has always felt a bit strange to me (not saying I ever didn't enjoy it though) and this realisation finally explains to me why that is. God damn Circa Survive is a cool af band, and they just keep getting cooler.
