Good one as usual Naveen. Great cover. Circar Exp is one of the oldest trains which used to be operated from Chennai Central earlier, then it was moved to Egmore. It's an economy-class train originally started for port laborers' commutation. But it majorly helped commuters from Vijayawada to Chennai back then as Pinakini Exp tends to get full quickly. An added advantage to this train is it has sleeper coaches vs Pinakini.

Naveen kumar first time seeing this new route Kakinada Port to Chennai Egmore Travel vlog from you. Of course this train takes almost 10 hours to reach Chennai Egmore from Vijaywada Jn. Noted that it takes diversion from Nidadavolu Jn and goes to Vijayawada via Tanuku, Bhimavaram etc. So many new stations I saw in this Travel Vlog. Good Gumidipoondi has been given a stop for this train., if this train is extended upto Puducherry then runnng time will get increased. Yes this train is spelt as Sarkar express. What is the history of the Circar Express No. 17644? When did it change from a steam engine to a diesel engine? What is its old train number? First let us understand what is meant byCircar: The British India’s Madras Presidency had Northern Circars ( Sarkars) division which constituted a narrow slip of territory lying along the western side of the Bay of Bengal in present states of AP and Odisha Train Nos 43 and 44 Circar Expresses between Madras Central and Cocanada Port were introduced in 1967 covering the Circars region in AP . Cocanada Port ( COA) subsequently renamed as Kakinada Port and the Circar Express covered a distance of 700 Km via Vijayawada, Bhimavaram, Nidadavolu and Samalkot. It was the most popular train in those days, hauled by WP locomotives till early1970s and WDM 2 diesel locos subsequently. With the electrification of MAS - BZA section, the Circar expresses are now hauled by WAP-7 electric locos and WDM / WDP diesel locos between Vijayawada and Kakinada Port. To ease congestion at Chennai (Madras) Central, the Circar expresses were terminated at Egmore and now have been extended till Changalpattu , a distance of 756 km with 37 halts and 18 hours of running time. With the introduction computerisation in the Railways, 43 and 44 have become 17643 and 17644.

This is the only express train to stop in Gummidipoondi in gudur region whereas in arakkonam route most expresses stop in perambur/avadi/tiruvallur, in Tambaram route, expresses stop in mambalam/Tambaram, but in gudur section only after 82 kms there is a stop, so local people need to come to Chennai Central or sullurpeta is very difficult for early morning/night trains.

Do you know brother.., this circar exp is a wonderful train for coastal AP people whole wants to go up to chennai. As you said its a express passanger train... But it is a passengers train with full of cleanliness❤❤. Trains to chennai from long origin does not get reserved bearths and that long trains are dirty and huge crowd.Any seasonal effect for long run trains they will get late by 3-4hrs mainly in winter. But circar express doesnt.there is a prblm in lagging bcoz of too much track crowd. We are travelling in this train to chennai from 18 yrs. This is the one of the oldest train among all. Brother you done small mistake... While arriving Godavari bridge you focussed your camera to right side... But while passing out from city firstly you should focuss your camera on left side.. There was a beautiful ISCKON temple, ayyapapan temple, River bay view and much more temples very closer to railway track. Better remind this in your next vlog . Any north place you go... While returning via Rajahmundry remember this❤ Thanks for your video... Rajahmundry is my native. My son addicted to your each and every video...
