Circle Jerks - Red Tape (Drum Cover)

I'm super hyped to bring you guys a cover of red tape that I am really proud of. If you didn't know, this is a cover of "red tape" by the Circle jerks. My guitarist (jaden) and bassist (jc) helped me film this cover , so give them some love too, hope you guys enjoy.

That was great. I saw the circle jerks live in 83 and it was my first experience into hardcore punk. Chuck Biscuits was their drummer and he had the whole place moshing ( it was called slam dancing back then) and it was powerful. Something I’ll never forget. This was the fastest you got back then. I saw them later in 89 but they’re drummer then, though good, didn’t have the same command as Biscuits. Do some early D. R. I. or early Corrosion of Conformity.

good cover, i think you nailed it better than Lucky himself. i've seen live videos, and his right hand, especially during the choruses, is only hitting quarter notes as opposed to the eighth notes you were doing. that being said, you doing it 'proper' feels a lot more frantic than the original, in a good way.

VERY well executed and great choice on unique HC drum tracks. I always loved the feel of that one. It was fast and tight, but had that "rushed" thing to it. You almost felt like Lucky was going to blow up halfway through it and start kicking his drums all over the stage like the Who.
