This is a drum cam of me playing "hard times" by the cro-mags from last may. Hope you guys enjoy the cover, let me know what you think.

I LOVE seeing the younger generation playing old school hardcore. You guys know what's good. Thank you and keep playing.

Mackie ain’t easy to duplicate Good job

I was gonna say the same thing. Mackie and Slayer Hippys stuff are some of the most nuanced in hardcore.

Dude I might have watched this 30 times, because I love this album, but also you agression on the drums is UNMATCHED. It makes me want to buy a drum kit and play it with hammers. I feel like you are trying to destroy the drum kit, and myself and 4800 other likes this.

@@smdrums0287 I love how aggressive you are. I watched all your videos, love it. I gave my drumkit to my son. I'm an old fart now, time to give it up.

@@Adje1960 i'm so happy you liked all my videos, you're a damn good drummer yourself. I hope your son carries on your legacy. Since you liked these vids, I think you'd really dig my band, we're called chemical-x. We play fast, melodic, and aggressive punk rock. If it interests you I can send you a link to listen :)

Snare sound really good. It looks to be slightly different than your black Gretsch steel snare as from the video it appears to have a centerline bead or knurling. Am I imagining that centerline? Is this the thick or thin shell steel snare?
@smdrums0287 Жыл бұрын
Nope you’re right , I got my Gretch snare a year back for my birthday, this was recorded before that. It sounded real bombastic here tho I’ll never forget
@patrickjmckenna2 жыл бұрын
Excellent. What snare and snare head is that? Sounds heavy.
@smdrums02872 жыл бұрын
thanks a lot my man,, It was an evans dry head I think but I don’t exactly remember

@@smdrums0287 If it was a dry, any idea if it would be an HD Dry or ST Dry?
