Kinda feeds into the chaotic end of days tone it's going for....end of an empire had a similar motif. Only there it was more like a revolt against the man. Here it's more like: "holy fucking shit we're all gonna die"

as someone who has knowledge on animation editor software, i like how some things go slightly wrong with the "keyframes" like the circle of dust logo moving to the back at slightly off timing, the text appearin slightly too late and stuff. ;o maybe a thight deadline on finishing the clip ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ not gonna judge though i find it a little funny

Awesome!! Can't wait for the full 6th album...this both continues off where songs like Humanarchy left us but also recalls Brainchild - Makes me feel like it's 1992 again!

I agree. There is definitely more of the old sound in this track. It's early but I might like this more than anything on MoOD, which I like a lot.

There's even a line that mentions "Brainchildren" which I took as a Brainchild reference. Very cool. :)

"Oh, I'm not in the habit of taking orders from a machine!" THE LORE DEEPENS Amazing song. Headbanged and mouthed the lyrics on the first listen. Was kinda wondering where Circle of Dust went after MooD, but then again, after having what was basically a whole year dedicated to CoD, I guess it was only fair to give it a break for a while. 6th album hype, tho!
@TheNocturnal17 жыл бұрын
They're doing something with the documentary too. Blue Stahli showed a preview on his Instagram of his take on Humanachy so there's a high chance we will get remixes/alternate versions of already released tracks with the digital release of it. Sorta like how Celldweller did with End of an Empire doc that came with New Elysium VIP.

Can't seem to get enough of this track, Klayton. Of course, I've been "along for the ride" with you since the late 80's (Immortal) and this song seems to reawaken some of that inner child in me. I felt like I knew the chorus even before I listened to / saw it the first time. Like it had been pre-programmed into my brain and I was just waiting for someone to actually produce the song. Absolutely awesome! I can't play it loud enough. It's very satisfying, yet addicting!! Thank you, Klayton. Can't wait for the entire CD to be released!!!!

the way id classify this song is humanarchy if it had heavier, faster guitar riffs and drums. and i am totally ok with that, cause my main complaint about humanarchy was that it felt like it dragged on a bit. here the speed is just perfect.

Back in the early 90s I got the Brainchild masterpiece - Back when NIN., Ministry and s couple other outfits so Circle of Dust ended up a long term relationship, My eldest spawn ended up getting every CD in the Argyle Park and Circle of dust library.

I have a feeling it was done entirely on purposely, honestly as weird as it was to get used to I really like how the way this song was edited.
@bett4317 жыл бұрын
TheNocturnal I ve just checked Jerichos Remix again and I somehow forgot those cuts there. Jericho kinda keeps flowing after those cuts while dust to dust basicly punches you in the brain after every cut (metaphoricly). It took a while but after I got used to it I started to love it here.
@paulort11847 жыл бұрын
With the idea of dust to dust being related to the saying "ashes to ashes, and dust to dust" it connects symbolically to me. Every time there is a cut, in that silence just for a moment it is as if the song dies or returns to dust, but then returns as abruptly with the next hit.

@phiuzu5487 Жыл бұрын
Idk who that is but cod to begin was a one man band from singing, music creation, lyric production. Klayton only had other members to help him with touring or other related stuff.
